filthymindedvixen · 04/09/2008 16:44

Neerly those last ones are lovely - capp - Go and bid girl!

i liked the faux leather ones lots but faux leather is a false ecomony imo

weepootle · 04/09/2008 16:48

I'm thinking about ordering these as there's a £15 off + free gift code on here at the mo. They come in brown or patent black.

Habbibu · 04/09/2008 16:51

Just marking place on this thread - love the hush puppies and vertbaudet boots - the waxed leather vertbaudet riding boots come in black, but it won't show them. dd (23mo) is on my knee, saying "Lovely shoes, mummy!"

Habbibu · 04/09/2008 16:52

15 off 36? Where's the code??!!

Ewe · 04/09/2008 16:55

Would you wear cowboy boots? It's what I tend to wear with skirts in winter when I want flats.

weepootle · 04/09/2008 17:04

Vertbaudet code: order code 2759 + advert code vbl012 gives £15 off, free delivery and a free shape sorter toy!

weepootle · 04/09/2008 17:07

Habbibu, from size 4 upwards the vertbaudet ones cost £42- still a bargain with the £15 off though. The black are patent leather- they sound nice as well.

Cappuccino · 04/09/2008 17:07

thanks, weepootle. Have just looked at my calves and am wondering if girls' boots will work . Are calf-length boots good with knee-length skirts?

weepootle · 04/09/2008 17:16

I'm wondering the same about the calf thing Habbibu. I've also ordered these with a 15% off code & free delivery.

weepootle · 04/09/2008 17:17

I think calf length look good with everything but then I'm only little and don't like a longer length boot.

Ewe · 04/09/2008 17:18

I have these. They look a bit shit on the link, better in real life and on, so comfy. Personally I battered mine about in the park a bit as I like them to look a bit lived in.

Cappuccino · 04/09/2008 17:18

these are seeming the best so far

do we like?

dresses are knee length generally

nooo - hush puppies nicer, and better quality for a bit more cash.

weepootle · 04/09/2008 17:23

Definitely the hush puppies

Ewe · 04/09/2008 17:25

I, obviously, think you should go cowboy boots. On trend, comfy etc etc.

The hush puppies ones are very middle aged IMO.

weepootle · 04/09/2008 17:30

Are cowboy boots fashionable again then? I don't think those boots look middleaged, but maybe she is middleaged.

Cappuccino · 04/09/2008 17:38

MIDDLE AGED

I am 38

OP posts:
Ewe · 04/09/2008 17:41

Cowboy boots are back in, as were cowboy hats this summer too!

I didn't say you were middle aged! Just the boots. It's the sole on them.

Cappuccino · 04/09/2008 17:43

it looks very practical to me

[middle-aged]

In that case you're beyond help

Enjoy your hushpuppies
