ok, I am stealing off a thread here, but I want to know something about going commando (possible TMI, hence the new thread)......

how do you manage if you are very 'wet' down there???

I could never ever think about going commando, sorry, simply because I am too 'wet' (oh god, have I really said that out loud on MN.....argh)

and it is nothing to do with having 5 and a slack pelvic floor (altho I have and do!) as I have never figured that I am dry enough to try it.

I mean, what if you sit on fabric chairs, gete up, and leave a moist patch.

(and I said the word moist too....shoot me now....)

What if you are knickerless and some dog starts sniffing his nose in your nethers? What happens then, huh, huh?

thesockmonsterofdoom · 15/08/2008 17:54

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww, am going to a restaurant so hopefilly no dogs, although what if wind blows skirts up.

maidamess · 15/08/2008 17:55

Yes, but why do you want to go bare down there?

cocolepew · 15/08/2008 17:59

Spidermama · 15/08/2008 19:01

dropinthe · 15/08/2008 19:05

It just gives me gummy thighs going commando but agree its nice sometimes..........

Slouchy · 15/08/2008 19:05

MOONCUP!

better than tampons - isn't toxic shock a potential bother with them?

Not a regular airer-of-nethers but do use this route when wearing white linen trews. And I can report it works just fine.

(Was more paranoid about my bottom-beard showing than any other embarrassments the 1st time!)

Spidermama · 15/08/2008 19:12

I don't think I'm as fruitful with the moisture production as some of you but I would certainly second Slouchy's MOONCUP recommendation.

Spidermama · 15/08/2008 19:13

Hiya Dropinthe. Long time no see.

morningpaper · 15/08/2008 19:14

This is funny

I remember many threads where Spidermama has revealed Things Her Mum Has Said

I have learnt a lot about Vaginal Dryness from spidermama's mother

hmm

Anyway I only go commando during dry patches of the month

or when pregnant, couldn't bear buying huge pants so ended up wearing none

psychomum5 · 15/08/2008 19:14

but don;t mooncups kind of suck your insides out if they are not that wet???

and would it not suck my coil out too???

((can you tell I am a mooncup virgin?))

OP posts:
morningpaper · 15/08/2008 19:15

yes obviously every now adn then a bit of intestine rolls out the bottom of your trousers but you can just tuck it back in

Slouchy · 15/08/2008 19:18

Lol at spidergrandmama being the fount (or whatever the opposite is) of knowledge r.e All Things Related To Vaginal Dryness

psychomum5 · 15/08/2008 19:21

.....I am stupid aren;t I.

doh!

OP posts:
Spidermama · 15/08/2008 19:22

I think you'll find it's my mum who's the 'fount' Slouchy.

cocolepew · 15/08/2008 19:23

I have a horrible picture in my mind of a MN meet-up were everyone is leaving a trail behind themselves. Like snails.

psychomum5 · 15/08/2008 19:24

@ snail trails.....
