reading Cods do yo chande your clothes thread got me thinking,

How long would you wear clothes for? I only wear tops once before wash, unless I'd only wore them for a short time and hadn't spilt stuff on it or sweated . But I would wear my jeans for ,erm, longer .

i am SO ridiculously relieved that everyone else is minging wears their bras for multiple days too!. thought i was an oddball.

underwear - changed everyday.
Tops - I am very sweaty under the armpits so daily.
Bottoms, jeans, trousers, - 2 days in a row unless baby has been sick down them.

If baby is sick down my trousers, I just babywipe it and will still wear the trousers the following day!

change undies every day, twice if going out.
Clean top every day, unless I've only worn it for a short time and it's clean/passes the sniff test.
Trousers - usually wear a couple of days, jeans longer if they're not walking around on their own.

Do you shower everyday? I do and wash my hair every day, but people I work with go days without washing their hair.

I have to admit that in my twenties I used to wear my jeans for half a day then wash and dry them so they were 'fresh' to go out in the evening. If I could I would wash and change my bedding every day too...

I have loads of pairs of jeans therefore I don't think they wear out quickly...

I still wear jeans I bought 5 years ago sometimes...

OF COURSE I shower and wash my hair every day..shower in the morning and often bath at night too.

Although I shower daily, sometimes twice, I must admit to being a bit of a slattern when it comes to hair washing - I only wash it twice a week, just wear it down on the day it's washed and tie it up the rest of the time. Surely I'm not alone in this? (Please!)

Most get covered in grub by 2 yr old straight away but if they end the day with a clean appearance I would wear:

Bra 3-4 times
Knickers once
Top twice
Jeans up to 4 or five times
Jumper - ages

Kids wear knickers once and everything else until it looks dirty, in reality this is usually once, sometimes twice, rarely three times.

i have a special shelf in all the wardrobes for 'wear again' stuff.
On a Monday when I do most of my washing I pull it out and wash it though

untill they are dirty. I'm not going to wash a perfectly good top just because I've worn it forone day. The less you wash clothes the better they keep I've found.

Three or four days if the top doesn't get dirty or smell, but not in a row, I rotate my clothes so Idon't wear thesameoutfit on twoconsecutive days.

I know it makes me sound weird...

I just wish my standards of personal hygiene extended to the rest of my house....
Sadly it doesn't..I am able to sit in a mess as long as my jeans are squeaky clean and my har has been washed!!

My hair is short and I use wax etc. in it. When I wake up it's all over the place. It's easier to wash it, than try to re-style it.

Shower most days - 5 out of 7 I would say. Wash hair once or twice a week. Bath kids 2-4 times a week.

no wonder persil and ariel are multimillion dollar companies with all of you about!

i wash things when they get dirty.

undies and socks daily.
tops whenever they're dirty or smelly, 3/4 wears usually but i don't wear them consequetive days, have tonnes of tops on the go at one time.
pants not often enough as have only 1 pair that fits at the minute so have to pick a day to wash them when i can lounge around in pj bottoms and no-one is likely to call round.

never iron, don't even own an ironing board

But a top being next to your skin all day is dirty in my opinion. I understand that is not your opinion and respect that but I cannot abide wearing things that have not been washed
