I would wear 'em for double digging down the allotment. All the old buffers in the neighbouring plots would be so enchanted by my elegance and beauty that they would be clamouring to do the digging for me.
All would be well with the world...

MushMonster · Yesterday 06:12

LOL

I can see them looking really cute with a leotard and maybe a light dance skirt for dancers, as a practice outfit.
I think Madonna was wearing something similar in Tempo is Back video, with a pink leotard on top.
But.... for every day life... maybe under a skirt/ dress could look ok? A bit of layering with semisheer materials can look a bit wimsical.
But, on their own- NO WAY
And the price!!!!!!!

Didn't Superman wear a pair of these?

MushMonster · Yesterday 06:52

Nah, Superman wore blue tights/ thin leggings with knee high red boots. Very tight fitting, but not sheer.
In the cartoon, there is an outline for each muscle on the legs, so it can look sheer like and like blue dance tights. But in the films are definitively opaque and the actor can actually walk on them LOL

They look appropriate maybe for Bianca Censori (that last name always cracks me up considering most full body pics of her have to be censored) but from kanye's 1st wife's skims collection...and totally ridiculous in appearance and price!! Seriously WTAF. Not pants. Underpants.

Yello24 · Yesterday 06:55

I love that they’ve styled them with big pants. In reality a few people will wear them with a thong and a cropped top. People are obsessed with showcasing their arse these days.

The pants are part of the capris so luckily people won’t have the option for a thong and arse on show

Just as well or we’d be getting puns on the designer’s name.

CeliaCanth · Yesterday 08:12

They also look horribly low rise - I’d shoot out the back as soon as I bent over!

Really don’t think MN is the target audience for these.
Posters falling over themselves to sneer at barrel jeans or anything remotely fashionable.
To answer your question, they would look good with a kitten heel, oversized blazer or trench.
Going out for dinner and/or some bars.
Thanks for the recommendation 👍🏻

Is that a woman’s body they’re using?

KassandraOfSparta · Yesterday 08:17

As a base layer under proper trousers when it's a bit chilly outside?

They'd be perfect for anyone seeking a bout of expensive thrush.

Morecoffeeneedef · Yesterday 08:24

Hideous, and why are they employing a worryingly thin model.

Yes, I have an old pair of yoga leggings which do a similar job, £25 when new.

Dollymylove · Yesterday 08:34

Horrendous and on a par with those flesh coloured leggings that make the wearer look like they have forgotten their lower clothing 😬😬😅

Moonlighting as Batman?

I wouldn’t say these were fashionable, they are a micro trend.

OvernightBloats · Yesterday 09:04

The price! £510 for those! Just buy some nylon tights and cut off the bottoms.

I don't sneer at barrel jeans. I just find that they make me (and I am evidently not alone) look bow-legged. (They're not exactly fashion-forward though, are they? They've been around for years). Maybe the mumsnetters that you disparage understand that trendy and well-dressed are not always the same thing.

Lomonald · Yesterday 09:16

Five hundred and ten pounds !! For a pair of tights.

I was going to say this. Get a pair of big knickers to put under them and you're done!
