Ha from my perspective, as someone who owns and loves a million barrel trousers but is desperate for cigarettes to come back for novelty, I swear every other thread is recommending or enquiring about barrels!
Regardless, I've never understood why fashion is the one art form that isn't allowed to be critiqued? TV shows, films, paintings, novels, all fair game for journalists and reviewers. And giving two stars to, say, Hockney, doesn't mean your appreciation of painting and the visual arts in general is called into question.

Like, the designer of those trousers was probably pretty bold and didn't give a fuck. Why is not automatically loving them equated with not appreciating fashion in general? Can't there be room amongst consumers of fashion for their own individual boldness and not giving a fuck, to form their own opinions?
