It's been a little quiet on the exciting edit and beauty releases front what with all the advent malarky but summer is drawing to a close and soon those autumn/winter releases and holiday edits will be popping up to tempt us.

How on earth are you going to know if these products are going to work for you based on these sizes? You may get a week but thats still not enough . I don’t know why companies do this . Especially with a retinol🤦🏻‍♀️

SpaceNK has some good samples at the moment, but as always it’s just chance if you get what you select! I placed a small order the other day though and did get the AB 7ml sunscreen.

I’m going to swerve the Medik 8 CB edit. Ridiculous sizes included.

I don't think it's quite as ubiquitous as Molecules 01.

I like it too. I have loads of the minis though.

I like some of the M+ range, especially + champaca which is new this year, but it always seems to be the original one or + iris (which I'm not keen on) in edits etc. Oh sometimes mandarin, which is ok but give me more champaca, please!

Managed to get a space nk spritz edit off ebay. Some interesting ones in there plus some old faces.

I've had the same email from Oh my cream, so hopefully the goody bag is sent! I bet they had a lot of emails complaining....

I read on another thread that the Lola at Coat Check smells like Calvin Klein’s Obsession when it’s dries down. Is that correct? Obsession was my early 99s ride or die and I’d love to find something similar as it feels a bit dated to wear now.

Yes I have and I liked it, I feel like it smoothed out some fine lines. Not enough to repurchase though. I saw it in that set and wondered if I should give it another go.

I was using it at the same time as the AoS azelaic acid and tranexamic acid - they did nothing for my skin and were so expensive it put me off the brand a bit. But then I just bought their new lip balm and that is excellent.

I saw that the founder has recently left AoS, so I wonder how the brand will go in the future

Hmmm I I’ll have to do additional research then, because this is the most expensive item in the set. I also will run the ingredient list through chatGpt and ask to evaluate its effectiveness 🤔

Late to this as been on holiday but took an unopened eye brightening eye cream ( think it was called that!) that I got from Vinted after liking the one I got in Liberty 24 advent, and it had gone off so I had to bin and live without eye cream for 2 weeks. Hope yours are ok!

@26inprogress / is that the MZ Skin?

If so, other people have reported it going off quite quickly.

I loved the one I got last year, but must use the other I have as it is too nice, (and expensive), to waste.

In other news: have finally got round to using the AB eye cream from last year’s Liberty and unfortunately I really like it!

Cult Beauty have some new samples in on the 5 for £5 offer - Debaser in Bloom which I know a few people were hoping for in the SNK kit, Fugazzi Pomegranoudh, quite a few Jo Malone ones I haven’t seen on there before.
