We are definitely the target audience for their marketing!

I wonder if PK and CT are some of the 'exclusives' you won't find in any other calendars this year 🤔 maybe that's why we've been mostly spared elsewhere 😅

I'd like the Medik8 on day 25, but not a lot else.

The box is very pretty. When the PK came out, it was a bit of an eye-roll🤭 I'm probably going to go for it. I will sell three bits from it. I thought they would have given a bit more info on when it can be purchased, instead of just giving information out in dribs and drabs😒

That was better than I was expecting. Lots of really big sizes and seems fairly well balanced. I think it’s a very solid calendar. However for me the wow products I’ve already tried and are just ok for me. I would use La mer but I’ve had one in my stash for a while now because it’s just ok for my skin. The ab body cream I got in an edit and again it’s fine but not amazing. I would like to try the medik8. However the only DODs for me is the byoma (just not for me) and the eye lash curlers. So I think this needs serious consideration.

Pleased to say I don't want Space NK. Nothing much excited me in the line up and I'm not keen on the packaging. I'm probably getting a bit old for the target market now I'm in my 50s. It's looking more likely that Harrods is the one for me

I’d like to try La Mer just to see if it is simply posh Nivea and I quite fancy the AB body lotion but overall I’m not regretting my Harrods order.

SNK is a no from me. I only want the Debaser in Bloom

I am disappointed with SNK. How are they able to charge £275 for this curation is a mystery to me. Full of old releases, cheap brands and travel sizes. They can’t even give us a full size of PK and their own shower gel 😩I’ve received bigger items for free as gwp. A few nice products in the mix but not enough to justify the spend for me.

Harrods is £5 less and has £500 more value. I’m leaning towards it, but will wait for Sephora and Harvey Nichols reveals.

Watched the unboxing now. I'm still not wowed but it's a lot of good sized products. I would use definitely some of it but it's not one I'd be that excited to open.

The makeup is so-so but then again so is CB make up so far. I need to see the CB reveal.

I think it will come down to which skincare holds the most value for me.

I guess I'm slightly walking back my previous statement of it being a total no.

I need to go dig out the sample I've got of SR lactic acid Good Genes and try it because I find the Glycolic version a tad too harsh.

I would say la mer is nivea like in that it is a rich thick type cream but my skin liked the sample I tried more than Nivea....

I don't love the body cream. I've almost just emptied one which has taken ages because I don't enjoy it. I'm a big AB fan generally. I think they should have put the new one in that comes in a tub (rose/geranium?) that would have seemed more wow.

Harrods is now the only one left on my list - if I’m going to get a high-end one this year.

Does anyone know if they give any warning when it’s close to selling out, or is it just a sudden ‘bad luck, you’re too late!’?

Just counted and I'd probably use 23 products out of (I think) 35. That's a rough estimate and making the assumption I like the perfumes.

That's not a terrible ratio but some of it is purely pragmatic e.g. I'm not crazy about Skin Rocks products but would use up a full size cleansing balm.

A couple more spoilers from GB - we already knew about the Milk Orchid 😊

I'd like the fragrances from SNK and the cleansing balm but I don't think I'm excited about anything else. I think I was being swayed by the sizes but do I want a big bottle of something I'm not excited to use? Sadly the make up doesn't look like the sort of colours that suit me and the eyelash curlers would go straight into a charity bag. I'm terrible at remembering to use body lotions so the AB would be wasted on me. I think I'm successfully de-influencing myself 😅

just watched the space nk unboxing …it was a nice unboxing and i began to get carried away and think i might want it ….but £275 for pk, ct , eyelash curlers , 4/5 lip products ? I have given myself a slap and come back down to earth ….also having just input into my growing advent calendar spreadsheet …the computer says no …
