I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

Is that quite a big increase? I'm sure it was around £130 last year - could be wrong.

About 2 I think. About 10.20 ish we were alerted. Not sure without going back a few pages.

Yes, it was much cheaper last year and I picked it up for £99, which was a bargain. But it didn’t have Bioeffect EGF in it. That is a bit of a hero product.

It’s not such an automatic buy for me now though. £197 is a considered purchase, not a whim,

Agree. I like it better than last year and maybe would pick it up discounted. Not an automatic yes.

It does seem like they are going to do the same as they did with the fragrance tote. Which is better really, it gives people more of a chance

It was all very stressful with no wifi and crap reception so I'm still a bit confused.

Thanks @MrsBnow12 . No hesitation for me this year with regards to the fragrance advent calendar. Seems like it sold out in 2 hours. I got my notification around 11am and about 15 minutes after, beautydetective had posted too. I managed to buy it at 10.30am.

Mrsbnow posted at 10:02, my confirmation email (that I eventually found) is 10:06, so just over 2 hours. I've just received a notification to say it's sold out.

I think it's going to come back. Just by the wording they are using. Although I doubt there will be loads of chances to get one.

Part of me is wondering if it's just going to say when it'll be available in stores.

I'm really pleased with our detective skills though, we just knew it was going to be today 🧐

Still no sign of my DH and it seems
its too late now anyway. How frustrating! I’ve tried doing on my sketchy mobile data in case it was my WiFi but still saying I’m in the wrong country!

I had a notification from the app at 11.44am (30 min ago) that they were available and then one 7 mins ago that the FAC has sold out. I’d be really pissed off if I’d been waiting for Harrods to tell me about it, esp after they pushed the whole app download at us!

Instead of which I had a FAC in my basket at 10.46, then reminded myself I had decided against it (for this year - maybe next once I learn more about what perfumes I like!). Still pondering the BAC though.

I'd imagine they had a bit of a headache last year with the early drop and would have had a fair few wealthy clients that they upset. Despite them pushing the app, it doesnt work very well so it would be a fairer way of doing it.

@Hicupping the bioeffect eye serum in the Elle calendar looks like it might be full size. I have the full size one that I'm using now and it looks the same. I've also had a mini before and it comes in a different bottle.

It seems that the blank page app thing might have been on android phones and apple phones were fine. That would explain it for me. Not sure if that's the case for everyone who has the blank page. Still can't access the remaining two calendars on the app.

Thank goodness the web link worked despite it supposedly being an app only preorder.

It will be easy enough to pick up those you fancy on Vinted/eBay come Sep as it's going to get flooded.
