I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

That's rubbish. They're known for weirdness around addresses. I remember from last year. Any relatives you could send it to then forward on?

Can you checkout as a guest or do it on your phone in secret mode and see if it works?

I decided to go ahead and buy the Harrods BAC now rather than wait. Why I thought to do it when the app had just sent the notification and traffic on the app would be bad, I don’t know; it crashed as my payment was going through so I didn’t know if I’d been successful or not as the page was frozen 🙈
Anyway, I’ve now received a confirmation email so panic over 😅

Try deleting your cookies and browsing history. Sometimes clearing the memory resets it. Good luck x

I want the Harrods BAC but Im going to wait till later when it's hopefully calmed down a bit. My DP is buying it for me anyway and was working last night. I'm not sure he'll be as keen to pay for it if I go and wake him up now 😂

Are you checking them out individually or as one order? Maybe only one of the calendars is the issue? (Although not sure why it would be, but it is Harrods 🤷‍♀️)

I’ve tried both ways. My DH finishes work at lunchtime today so I will see if it works on his account. But time is ticking and I will have to confess to what I’m ordering.

Oh I hope he can get it ordered for you. Maybe just go for the fac one today as that's the one that will sell out. You can get the others when it all calms down.

I’ve just tried setting up a completely new account, new email and it was set to U.K. and still the same error message! I’ve tried on my laptop and on my phone. I’m not quite sure what the issue is. Hopefully my DH will be my knight in shining armour.

edited to say the same error happens on the app and website.

I keep going to look at the FAC, but im really not feeling it. I did want the hair & body, but might hold off. The Elle one looks good too.

Looks like the FAC is sold out now. It's not appearing as a pre order on the app anymore for me and the previous link I used doesnt work.

The FAC is going to page not found now. So that might be it. Although I have a feeling it may come back for further drops.
