I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

Oh false alarm guys. It's gone to my old email address, the one linked to my PayPal. I've got a feeling I'm not getting rewards points for my order 😮‍💨 it's not on my orders. My heart is absolutely racing.

My confirmation email came through before the paypal confirmation email.

I don't check that email address so it's not great that it's gone there. I'll have to hope you guys update me on delivery dispatches etc.

I also haven't received a notification to say they've gone live. I'm glad though that we all now have the rest of the day / week. I'm shaking now though, I think I need a coffee, or maybe something stronger and a calms 🤣

It doesn't seem to be available on the website yet. They've obviously done the same as last year and released on the app first.

It doesn't say anything about duties and tariffs on mine so I'm assuming it's duty paid and I won't get a massive shock when it ships next month.

That’s strange. I haven’t trued to purchase the beauty calendar yet - will get DH on the case when he wakes up as he is ordering it for my birthday present. Hope you’ve managed to get your order through now

I was nearly buying it again, I would've ended up like that guy last year with all the hfacs 🙈 maybe that's what he did 🤣

I wasn’t planning on buying it and haven’t posted on this thread before but I got swept away in the excitement and ordered via PayPal credit. Got both my confirmations from Harrods and PayPal so hopefully it all goes through. I had no idea it was all so fraught!

Changing the subject slightly, the Holland and Barrett wait list is open for their calendar. It'll be £60 this year, not sure how much last years was but it seems a good price.

@JoRaRaRa also not showing in my orders yet. I hope it goes- I want the reward points! They usually add some bonus points randomly too. Last year I got £10 bonus points which I think was for ordering either this or the BAC.
@Willow742 I was so excited at ordering I didn’t even noticed it was an affiliate link! Someone has done very well today!

@JoRaRaRa Glad your confirmation came though! It didn’t occur to me to use PayPal - I’ve only recently reinstated my account after a couple of years not using it.
I also don’t use credit cards. I’m hoping it all goes smoothly!

Haha, would have been funny if you’d ended up with like 6 of them 😅 between them and the BACs you get, you’d be opening one every month 🤣

Mines the same through app. I just thought id look as saw all the messages. 🤣 im not ordering as dont think most are for me and cba selling on. Have too much fragrance as it is. Glad youve all managed to get one.

My app doesn't work either so really grateful for the link to buy via browser. Honestly after all the sales pitch to download the app and check the app it just doesn't work. I can see the preorder button but it then goes to a blank page. Same for the BAC and the Hair & Body ones.

@OvaHere @Doglover73 How strange, I ordered mine through the app with no issues.
I did have a slight panic as my bank has an annoying thing where I have to approve the spend in my banking app, so had to go off the Harrods app to do it, I just kept thinking I was going to get knocked off my order and lose out 🙈

Just ordered the BAC too- I know I want it so now I can forget about it.

There is a post on Hotukdeals linking the fragrance calendar now so I imagine it will sell out very quickly

I just received a curious pop up whilst on the Boots app, they seem to be really working hard on the FAC.
