It's more nuanced than that, but yes, it significantly increases the risk. One-off cousin marriage isn't so bad, but repeated cousin marriage through generations compounds the risks in a fairly alarming way. Higher risk of miscarriage as well, for the same reason.

I found the site and the article but the pop ups and adverts made it difficult to read. I think the amount of junk like this on the page fighting for prominence might be affecting the ability to share. We've had it before on this site

That's not the reason, it's an issue with Mumsnet turning the links into Google links. Very annoying! It was doing this a while ago but then stopped but whatever bug was causing that is now back.

Missing baggage happens to toyals as well! Sophie had to begin her tour of Zambia in her "aeroplane clothes".
Anyway, here she is, presenting Royal homey to the first couple. I quite like her dress, different in terms of style and colour.

I like her short-sleeved dress in those pics much better than most of those she's worn this summer, but I think her best look of the trip thus far is the green dress with purple sash belt that's shown here (much better with the purple belt than the turquoise one the model wears, imo).

I loved the beautiful orange African print skirt and matching blouse and headscarf her companion is wearing in other photos (Sophie is in a very incongruous one-button blazer - no thanks). The print is all curves and used as trim throughout the rest of the outfit. I think the overall effect is amazing.

I think she sometimes struggles to get it right, and she often does tour very hot countries, but I agree, the bolder colours and sharper styles are better.

She does usually look good on tour and although it can be quite hot in Zambia, the humidity levels are usually pretty low, which makes all the difference. I've found that hot and dry is much easier to tolerate than hot and humid!

Sophie is looking very well - I like all of her outfits. Even the blazer is a nice look - just the right length. Adore the print outfit her companion in that photo is wearing.

Leti at an engagement in Carolina Herrara. I think the print is a bit overwhelming, tbh, both in colour and size.

I'm not a fan of that print either. But I like her shoes.

Just saw pics of William and Kate today. Kate still in the skinny jeans. Such a dated look. I’d love to see her trendy up a bit.

I don’t like the print. It wears her rather than the other way round. The shoes are ok.

And back to the brown! Although it was a very appropriate outfit for the event and the weather.
