Awaiting facelift surgery tomorrow, and would appreciate positive thoughts and advice

Hi .. just this really … I’m on a train with my little surgery bag … waiting for it to sink in .. I managed to convice myself it’s only a consultation at 7:45 tomorrow.
Expecting panic to set in any time 😬

Any positive thoughts,advice, experiences super appreciated…

I posted about this some weeks ago, i hope i don’t come across as an attention seeker,It’s just a good place when you need advice/ support/ ears.

Are you in instagram? Look at the consultant clinic. The owner’s friend has just had a facelift and she’s chatting her daily progress. Good luck!

Best of luck. I was having one a couple of months ago but was turned down because Im anaemic. Im just waiting for an iron transfusion then Ill reapply.
I hope it all goes brilliantly and you love the result.

Good luck! I haven’t had surgery to my face but I had a tummy tuck which was very major, and I’ve been thrilled with results. It changed my life in every way I can think of.

Just stay calm and enjoy the nap 😁

Best wishes to you! I had major jaw surgery 20 years ago and all I remember was them having me breathe in a mask, which I thought they were just checking if it fit. 😆 You will be fine and you will be completely recovered in no time at all. 🌷

Just think, you’ll wake up 10 min later and it will all be over! Take your recovery one day at a time but you’ll be surprised how quickly you’ll be up and about.

Totally natural. The surgeon had to call me the night before before I had a wobble. That was a breast enlargement. All the usual things, felt it was suddenly unnecessary, spending money on myself etc. Best thing I did. I feel loads better. The healing will go in a flash. Good luck x

Thank you so much for your posts, they did make me feel positive and even had a bit of a laugh (the checking if the mask fits 😆- love that!). Yes, I’ll have my third consultation in the morning and if I’m lucky I might persuade him to do my facetenance right there and then . No wait. How lucky!

I was supposed to find the instagram diary at The Consultant Clinic, ended up watching recipes 😂 ( @Reportingfromwherever what’s the name of that lady documenting her journey? There are so many posts there - I’m clearly a bit useless too 😬).

(My daughter just said I have a beautiful face 🥹 bless, I feel bad for putting her through the anxiety / wait ).

It is, isn’t it? The owner has also been very open about her facelift. It’s worth scrolling back for that too!

I’d love a lower facelift but I think I’m probably too much of a wimp and tightfisted.
However, there was a poster in here some time back (Damedoom) who had a lower facelift and it was incredible. It’s much less invasive than a full one and would do wonders for
my neck and jowls. It did make me seriously wonder about doing it….
