Maybe they are trying to understand if you purchased it directly from a retailer so you know it’s unused or if you are selling for a friend, have picked it up from a market stall etc, so there would be no true way of you knowing if it was unused. Or maybe the heat is just making them a bit nutty like me. 🙈

There's some products and packaging where it's difficult to fully evidence never used in a photo.

The only real answer to that question is go buy one from a shop if you want to be 100% certain.

I've sometimes had people clarifying it's new or asking where I got it. If it's a very recent edit/advent I'll send a link or a screenshot of a receipt. There's only so much you can do.

I think people on Vinted have got grumpy because of the heat! I’m clearing out my wardrobe because I’ve lost so much weight and currently I’ve got one parcel that’s been waiting over a week to be picked up and the buyer isn’t responding to my polite message asking if all is well. And this evening someone has messaged to say that the cut of the shirt she bought is ‘deeply unflattering’ and she’d like to return it. Not sure whether to just point out that I’m not M&S!

That's not your problem and Vinted agree with you. I'd sell it on, that's what she needs to do. You're definitely not M&S. Faulty, not as described yes, don't like the neckline.....no.

Vinted is please list, ok, nooooo you've listed too many you're must be a pro so we've deleted some. But I spent ages listing those. Tough. So list fewer, then you get the please list, please list, please list again, no I learned my lesson the first time.

Thanks @LightandBreezy - atm I am leaning towards going, if only because the heat has meant I have not been able to do much recently and on Sunday the weather is due to break. Not a cheap trip, though - with tolls and petrol - even if I don’t buy anything and it’s a long journey.

I am hoping someone will post a YT short or something over the next day or so. There is one on YT, but she’s done this stupid thing where everything she does and says is super-speeded up, (why?) so it’s impossible to really tell what is going on.

I am not trying to be cloak and dagger but don’t want to get anyone in trouble. I messaged them via my order to ask if they had received a ban and they said they were suspended for 7 days but are also wary as don’t want lose their account.
I also asked if they had more and they said they did and to send them my number if I use the w’app.
I told them I was on mumsnet and they agreed I can share their details via PM’s for anyone who wanted to buy.

@IlovePond I'm thinking similar - I'm erring towards going as I've barely left the house this week and am going a bit stir-crazy. It is a 30-40 min drive, but I can justify that as my car's not been driven for weeks and it's a hybrid so a decent run will do the battery good! @IlovePond I think I've just watched the double-time reel about it you mentioned - jeez! I think it must be so you have to watch it 4 times to understand it, so the creator bumps up their viewing numbers - cunning but so annoying 😂

It's also now totally confused me with the gift bag too, not sure my list was very accurate.

It was such a bizarre video @LightandBreezy - I did not watch it again so if that was her intention it failed with me!

I think the goody bag looks ok, but I can’t think what on earth I would be buying from that tiny Beauty Hall store for £100. I loathe the niche perfumes they sell, so that’s not an option.

Of course, if money was no object, I could easily spend a lot in there, but I am supposed to be on a no-buy atm 🙀If it was a/c season, that would be different!

I also don’t need anything in Harrods but I do love the bag. If it’s got a Delina in - I could sell that - I’ve already a few smaller sizes so that would offset the £100 a bit.
