StyleKorean are having another ‘event’ starting on Monday. It doesn’t look to be in the same league as May’s bonanza, but might be worth a look.

Interestingly, my basket is once again stating that all duties/customs are paid at point of sale for UK customers.

I think SK made a mistake previously regarding the UK shipping/tax costs due to the changes coming in re: EU customs charges, which has now been corrected.

This is good news for me as I have credit to spend. I hate missing out on freebies!

Of course, I don’t ‘need’ anything from SK, (or anywhere), but my credit expires soon and I don’t want to waste it!

@IlovePondi ordered a lot of stuff from SK in May bonanza and set up an account but it doesn’t seem to recognise me or show any credit, I clearly did something wrong!

That’s weird @26inprogress - did you use another email by any chance? You could try messaging them, but I don’t think their communication with overseas customers is always as good as it could be judging from feedback on TP.

Can you actually log on with the details you used in May?

Another rant, if I may. Interested if anyone else has experienced problems with the same purchase.

Ages ago, I ordered a perfume discovery set from YSL which was supposed to have a £50 voucher towards a full size fragrance. They emailed me a voucher very quickly, but it didn’t work. This was back in May. I contacted CS for help and, it’s still not sorted. It’s laughable how poor the CS has been, especially for a luxury brand like YSL. I’ve provided screen shots, forwarded the email with the voucher, shown them a variety of basket screenshots with error codes and they are still ‘reviewing everything to make sure they give the best advice’. It’s been back and forth multiple times.

I am struggling to understand why they don’t just reissue a voucher that works! It’s like they went to the Cult Beauty school of CS. Give me strength 😂

My Harrods GWP has arrived already. Really love the little bag. GWP itself is fine, as expected with mainly small samples.

btw, thank you for the positive enablement (as always!) on the spf front @keepincool and @ClutteredPalace. To be fair, it’s one of the few things I can probably totally justify as reasonable additional spend, considering my own colouring and also that of my dcs. Problem is that both dds are now very happy with Eucerin and/or RP, and not keen to change brands in case that triggers acne/eczema reactions, and DS is happy to slap pretty much anything on his face (although I’m sure would be happy to use high end stuff if offered). DH might be open to an upgrade, and actually would probably benefit from using more as he plays tennis outdoors all year round.

Off to look at the Boots box again. Despite the medik8 in the CB edit, I think the Boots one is way better value overall for similar spend.

Meanwhile Chat tells me that I should stick with medik8 crystal6 retinal and skip the Murad cream, so not going for the Debenham’s edit. Their previous ones (including the female founders one with Decree am serum) are discounted again: the scent edit is down to £28, if anyone is interested - I appreciate it’s less exciting than the Harrods scent tote!

I'll be annoyed if they don't have enough at next weekend's 'beach club' as I have a Sunday ticket.

Deeply irritated with cult beauty. I also got the crap 15% that doesn’t actually seem to work on anything good and then I’ve been bombarded with their marketing emails which I’d previously opted out of. So it’s clearly just a ploy to sign people up for that without actually making it clear or offering anything of worth!

I got my JL freebies and Harrods GWP this morning, very happy with all of it!

I’ve messaged Harrods , I have a rewards card and I just bought some bargain Christmas crackers but no points have linked and I don’t get any emails from them . I missed the tote , totally gutted ! So now I am really fearful that I am going to miss the FBAC . I do check in here daily so would one of you kind folks share the link or email when it’s available . I couldn’t even find the tote on the website 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😩

My second lot of JL rewards turned up but the Medik8 was missing. Somewhere along Evri's network the envelope has been torn in two and taped back together so it's either been pinched or is lying on the floor of a warehouse somewhere 🤦‍♀️ I've actually complained to JL, not because I think they'll send me another one but because this is the second time they've sent me something in an envelope that's turned up torn in half. Their packaging leaves a lot to be desired.

Anyone’s Harrods fragrance tote that they ordered yesterday been dispatched yet? They are usually lightening quick at dispatch. However, I suppose it is Saturday so maybe I should have more patience.
