Sorry everyone! I didn't realise how near the end of the old thread we were.

What on earth have you all done with yourselves for the last few hours? 😂

As always everyone welcome to join in and hopefully this is the thread we see the first 'big' BAC reveal. 😍

After not liking the VP Matiere last year at first, I ended up loving it but I can’t see bringing myself to pay the price they charge for a full bottle. Ditto Dear Polly, which I also like.

I will give it some thought, though - maybe I could bring myself to spend my BD on one of those IF the purchase coincided with a good GWP.

IlovePond · 01/07/2026 09:12

On a related note: ‘Broth’ sounds so disgusting to me - as if you were going to put soup on your face!

It could be the best product ever and I would still not want to use it.

(I do realise this is weird😹)

They often launch a nice gwp in August.

edited to add: I agree re the broth. I think I had one ages ago and it went straight in the donate pile. However, I think I will give it a go this time around if I’m feeling brave.

grateful3 · 01/07/2026 09:12

I wasn’t sure at first about the Liberty BAC but watching the video makes it more tempting.

IlovePond · 01/07/2026 09:14

Thanks @Beautyfox

I am definitely overthinking this and need to get over it 🙀

The skincare mostly appeals this year. The MZ eye cream, the 100ml Sisley lotion, U Compund and the Reome Broth. They might swing it for me.

There may also be some c/b deals further down the line. Presumably because it wasn’t shifting, Quidco had c/b on the Liberty a/c when I bought it last year in about October. I got £9 back if I remember correctly. (Every little helps!)

Thelifeofawife · 01/07/2026 09:27

I’m safe from the Liberty BAC, there’s lots of products that I either still have in my stash, or that I’m not interested in trying. Plus it’s very spendy without BD money/discount.
I like the bag though, so pretty!

@IlovePond I thought the same regarding the broth 😅

IlovePond · 01/07/2026 09:32

Glad it’s not just me @Thelifeofawife and @Beautyfox - it’s like ACNE Studios - I won’t buy anything from them either!

I agree that the bag is very pretty!

Hicupping · 01/07/2026 09:32

Bit disappointed the U beauty is not something else from the brand, make up is best section. I do like the bader oil but it does go rancid and my last 10ml I didn't use quickly enough. 4 of those perfumes I've had and don't like. Zelens has got really good reviews so I got some recently, didn't like it as much as B12 but it it's lighter so good for weather right now so I'll hunt it down. Sisley and Reome look good. Love the bag. Bit meh tbh. Body stuff double meh. 8 perfumes!

user593 · 01/07/2026 09:35

Liberty AC doesn’t tempt me so I’ll keep my status of never having bought an AC for now. I’m wearing my Ilia Soft Focus blush today in Glimpse. I really love it, a beautiful glow from within look. Having gone off powder blushes this one is definitely winning me over.

SheilaFentiman · 01/07/2026 09:41

Agree on broth. The idea of splashing some
Cream of Tomato on my face doesn’t work well 😀

Talisin · 01/07/2026 09:44

Not that keen on the box, it’s a bit ‘busy’ - Liberty is usually gloriously classic. I probably wouldn’t go for this, it’s nice but not wow but last year I did like the men’s calendar more than the women’s and very nearly got that so interested to see if they do that again.

IlovePond · 01/07/2026 09:45

@SheilaFentiman 😹 - absolutely- it screams ‘Scotch Broth’ to me - Reome broth is such a pretentious name trying to be cool!

namechange0998776554799000 · 01/07/2026 10:03

There are several things in the BAC that I like, however I already own them all 😆

OvaHere · 01/07/2026 10:03

I bought the Reome face masks from Harvey Nicks and they are lovely.

Agree I probably wouldn't go for it without vouchers or the BD £25 discount. Knowing I won't pay a lot at time of purchase does alter the equation a bit.

Reome Recovery Broth is an HG product for me I’ve repurchased a lot. Came in the 2024 Precious Potions Liberty Founder’s Edit. I don’t break out when I use it AM and PM at all. If I don’t buy the AC, I will use my Beauty Drop credit on Reome kits. @OvaHere i think the beauty drop members discounts are every drop now ie a beauty drop week every 3 months.

Off to look at Liberty AC and over analyse! www.libertylondon.com/uk/beauty-advent-calendar/

HolidayHattie · 01/07/2026 10:22

SheilaFentiman · 30/06/2026 23:22

Sparks gave me another £6 reward if I do a £30 beauty spend, I do like the simplicity that it’s just £6 reward and no restrictions to spending it later.

I might have liked that but mine were £8 voucher for £40 Clinique spend (not a bad offer - can anyone recommend £40-worth of Clinique?) and £4 for £20 spend on hair care.

BakeOffRewatch · 01/07/2026 10:27

So annoying they don’t have a list I can copy and paste and annotate on the page! Just watched the video - I love the box. Based on the comments here I had a quick look at the Reome Recoveu Broth included; err yeah 15ml is not FULL SIZE! A bottle I buy is 50ml, though it does last ages. 15ml will last a month I think. 15ml sells for £44, 50ml for £144 so 15ml worth £43.20. However I do think that’s a good thing for an advent calendar, I didn’t like the Dr Sebagh rose serum oil (I don’t like oil textures and I didn’t like the smell either) from the Liberty BAC 2024 and really suffered through using it up. Though it was great for my skin.

no time for any further analysis right now! Wish they had a list I could read down.

Hicupping · 01/07/2026 10:30

Is it here or on empties that we track monthly spends?

Anyway, yesterday’s boots one took me to £211. Will try and spend less in July 😀

I'm not a fan of face oil either so I'm a bit disappointed the AB product is the oil.

Some final extra thoughts before I rush off: there’s two products which haven’t even been released yet the Vyrao perfume and the Votary thing. That’s good. Then they have Lisa Eldridge in there as well and it’s not just her mascara and eyeliner which are everywhere in edits. Love the way they’ve categorised the products. I really feel like with the launch, presentation, video, sizes (no one really wants a full full size of something they haven’t tried but we do wants stuff we haven’t tried) and categories that they’ve listened to their customers.
