Should I get one or will I regret it?

This isn’t me but these are what I show my hairdresser.

I had hair like sjp.
All down my back
I chopped it in to a bob last October
Worse thing I did
It went really thin and straw like and I couldn't style it for love nor money
It needed so much fiddling with to get it to sit ok
Plus I always wore it permanently up on top of my head and obviously couldn't with a bob .
Nothing worse in this heat than hair round my face and neck

The best thing to do is either run a selfie through an ai app about hairstyles or talk to your hairdresser.
When i went she tucked it to give an idea what it would look like. She then chopped a few inches off and asked if she coukd do a bit more. I could see how it was looking so told her just to do the bob that is relaxed and I can do different things with it.

What is the AI tool people use? Is there a free one?

Try asking AI to do a mock up. It was very helpful for me and made me realise I would look like Greta Thunberg.

I like it! I can tuck it behind my ears if I want to. It’s shiny and has lots of body.

I’d love one as I’m fed up of my long thick hair that’s too hot.

I’ve had a few over the years and they do absolutely nothing for me. Always regrown it straight away.

I have fine hair but a lot of it, with the weight at the bottom, so a bob is a nightmare - it looks flat the top and triangular at the bottom, plus for whatever reason the hair on the top half of my head is MUCH thicker than the wisps on the bottom half. So putting it up always looks like shit, particularly those half up/half down jobs with the claw clip.

I always had one when younger (thick, wavy hair) and looked very 1920s and striking. However I’ve got slightly harsher features as I’ve aged and now I know it would make me look like a German techno dj. So I stick with long.

This is my bob. Straight thick hair. No straighteners needed. Washed every 3 days and just blow dried. I love it!

I did try it not for me I have very thick hair but round face so I need length I found. I also think a lot of bobs when I see them in person not just an over styled pic you see online, but a lot look a bit meh. Like others said if you’re not young and slim it’s just aging but at the end of the day it’s your hair and a lot of people style it for management reasons rather than doing a style that would suit them best. I think the lower section of your face and neck needs to be defined.
