If so, do you get a lot of wear out of it? Or only wear it sometimes? And do you know the tcw?

I wear mine everyday, I quite literally never take it off. I don’t keep anything for “good” I wear my expensive jewellery, my good perfume etc because other wise it would just sit in a box waiting for something deemed special enough

@user378657486 I don’t like the cord! It’s very odd.

Im not really sure if my bracelet is a tennis bracelet as each diamond setting is articulated and it’s Art Deco. 27 diamonds and tcw is around 9 cts. Set in platinum. No, I don’t wear it every day and it’s a fairly snug fit, which is how it was designed. It comes out when I need to be glam. I’d quite like a modern one for everyday wear.

I do have this one which is around the same age and the diamonds are set into a plaque. The bracelet is then just plain, I’d look for one like this rather then the cords.

I have a really lovely lab grown one from warren james .

I wear it a lot as it goes with any outfit. They had them on their monthly deal about a year ago and it was a very good price.

everyone always compliments it and I love it

I have a yellow gold 2ct one I wear next to my watch . It’s got a very strong ‘tongue’ fastening and a clip either side . I never take it off . I also have a gold Swarovski crystal one, slightly more carats , it’s hard to tell the difference !

Justmuddlingalong · 25/06/2026 16:53

I wear mine every day. Never take it off.
Life is short, wear the diamonds.

Catarinabella · 25/06/2026 16:54

I have a lab grown diamonds one, as I feel they are more ethical. Had it for years, wear it often and still looks great.

This.

Very nice. And I like the culet on the centre diamond! But not quite the look I'm going for with this.

Mine is awkward to take on and off so I usually only wear it if I am dressing up.
I would usually wear if with a few Hermes bangles

user378657486 · 25/06/2026 16:59

This is one of the three bracelets I wear on a daily basis -it's very, very narrow, around 1mm, so I want something that works with it (the others are a plain gold bangle and a turquoise enamel and gold twist).

The kimai one wouldn’t be to my taste but you love it so go for it.
I too don’t like the cord thingy. It cheapens it, imho - it doesn’t look its money if you know what I mean.

Wallabyone · 25/06/2026 18:28

I have a white gold diamond tennis bracelet that I never take off-I wear it next to my watch (which I do take off).

GetAbsOrDieTrying · 25/06/2026 18:49

I have one, 40th birthday present from my sister. I love it and wear it for special occasions. 😁

I agree with this sentiment. Wear the good jewellery. Use the good handbags. Wear the good clothes.

When clearing my mother’s belongings after she died, it was sad to see the things she’d been saving for good use.

That is exquisite. I have serious envy!

Discodance1988 · 25/06/2026 19:57

I read the title as diamond tennis racquet 😂

Mrscharlieeeee · 25/06/2026 19:59

Yes, I inherited it from my mum. I wore it on my wedding day and I’ve worn it on special birthdays and occasions but I don’t wear it day to day as I’m petrified of losing it or damaging it.

Latteapparel · 25/06/2026 20:05

I have my late Mum’s platinum tennis bracelet. She died age 46. I never used to wear it as I was too scared of losing it. I won an award at work and was blessed to meet the late Queen Elizabeth and decided to wear it for that special occasion.

Thereafter I decided not to save it for best and wore it daily and slept in it for 3 years. During lockdown I woke up and found it in my bed, broken at one of the links so was in two pieces 😢 I was able to have it fixed, cleaned and valued.

if you get one, never ever sleep in it, it weakens the links. I’ve now gone back to not wearing it as much - I’d be devastated if I lost it. It’s 8 carats. It’s worth quite a lot but if it didn’t have the sentimental value I’d it every day. It’s the only thing I have of my Mums and don’t want to risk losing it.

My mantra is not to save anything for best as best is never promised.

If I were buying one today I’d opt for lab grown diamonds, mine isn’t.

DeftGoldHedgehog · 25/06/2026 20:08

I have got to the age of 50 without ever hearing or reading the term "tennis bracelet" and had to Google.

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 25/06/2026 20:35

@user378657486I appreciate it’s not for everyone but money can be spent in various ways and a tennis bracelet is a fairly standard piece of jewellery. Some people might like to consider something different.

@managingexpectations@sammylady37 So should I wear this every day? I don’t but maybe you would?

I would bloody love one, it's my dream piece of jewellery

SapphireSeptember · 25/06/2026 20:41

I don't have a diamond one but I do have an amethyst one, that I bought from an antique shop years ago. I love it and I used to wear it all the time, but haven't worn it much recently.

sposabagnata · 25/06/2026 20:49

I have one, inherited from a relative. It is absolutely beautiful but does anyone else find that the hairs on their arms catch between the articulated links?! I find it don’t wear it as much as I’d like because it stings, and I’m not especially hairy…

PS5Gamer · 25/06/2026 20:54

I have one, yellow gold roughly 8tcw. My Husband bought me it about 30 years ago. I used to wear it everyday, until it broke. It was replaced, and I never wore the replacement at all.

Yes!!! I thought it was just because mine is a cheapy and perhaps expensive ones wouldn’t do that - but maybe they do!
