If so, do you get a lot of wear out of it? Or only wear it sometimes? And do you know the tcw?

Yes. tcw 7.0. White gold, beautiful. But never wear it. Too flashy for public environment.

I have a lab diamond one. I wear it all the time, I don’t even take it off to shower. No point to leaving these things in a drawer

Do you know the total carat weight? I'm interested in knowing the sizes of the ones people find good for daily wear.

Bear in mind they are naturally very fluid / floppy so it won’t ‘stack’. It will drop to the very edge of your hand. Would you consider a diamond set bangle instead if you want it to work with other bracelets?

One of the bracelets I usually wear is a very narrow bangle with baguettes, so I think I want something different for this one, but I get what you're saying about them being floppy.

I have one. 10 tcw. I wear it quite often, not every day but usually when I go “out out”.

DungeonCrawlerCarl · 21/06/2026 12:34

It’s a 10 carat yellow gold one. I wear it with two slim gold bangles

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 21/06/2026 15:04

I have an 8.4 ctw natural diamond & platinum one. It’s nice for occasions or going out for dinner but I prefer a good bangle for day to day. I like the size of it though - it’s big enough to be noticeable but not too big. Would you wear other bracelets with it? Tennis bracelet are very hard wearing and I don’t feel it when it’s on which is nice. But is still quite a smart look which is why I don’t wear it daily

I do love a yellow gold setting!

TennesseeDreams · 21/06/2026 15:08

i do. Got it for my 50 th after I dropped hints that resembled anvils falling from the sky. DH got from an auction p house so it’s pr- loved. I don’t know the but it cost around 4 k, I never take it off because the clasp is very complicated!

I have a fake Pandora one, it's quite nice and I wear it a couple of times a month.

Are the "Heavenly Necklaces" tennis bracelets any good? Kate Middleton used to get jewellery there.

They have rebranded as Heavenly London now but it's the same company. I have a sterling silver and CZ tennis bracelet from there and it's absolutely excellent, utterly convincing unless you were using a jeweller's loupe. They don't seem to do CZ any more, but the moissanite option looks good.

I have one - it was a 30th birthday present and I wore it all the time then.
I think it’s 3.5 carat (?) by memory from the insurance valuation, it was expensive (but I had a fancy pants lover at the time who was an absolute arse of a man but there we are) anyway, when I met DH and had the babies I stopped wearing it as I was ankle deep in nappies etc and it felt a bit OTT.
I put it in a jewellery box and only wore it on special occasions. Then just stopped (it’s platinum and I wear more yellow gold now).

Anyway about 3 years ago I took it out for a spin for all the 50ths etc … dd has now taken a shine to it. I caught her leaving the house to go skating in it a few weeks ago… I might try and bring it back into more regular use.

I have a lab one.
I wear it all day every day.

Love it

user378657486 · 25/06/2026 14:04

It's not quite a tennis bracelet, but I'm thinking I might get more wear out of this, which would work with my other bracelets.

@patooties That's quite funny. My DD wants nothing to do with anything diamond, even if it's lab, because people might mistakenly think she's contributing to the diamond industry 😅 Also, do you not mix metals? My engagement ring is platinum but my wedding band is yellow gold, and I mix my bracelets.

patooties · 25/06/2026 14:10

I do - I just didn’t for a bit. My engagement ring is stripy gold, I have a bulgari (zero1) I wear on my right hand which is two tone.

thinking about it I also have a platinum rub over solitaire pendant (unless DDs had that too!) which I’ve stopped wearing as it’s too ‘white’. Ditto a diamond cross. Isn’t it weird how tastes change?
I might send everything off for a clean and start again.

openended · 25/06/2026 14:15

I have one. Dh bought it for our first Valentines day after we got married. I only wear it on special occasions but I do love it.

Retro12 · 25/06/2026 15:20

I have one — I used to wear it all the time. But since I’ve been working in an office, I don’t like how it knocks against the desk when I’m typing. If I wasn’t in an office job, I’d probably still wear it every day. I’d definitely recommend getting one though — they go with everything, and I like layering mine with my watch.

UpToonGirl · 25/06/2026 15:35

I have a bezel set tennis bracelet that I wear everyday. I think the setting makes it more suitable for everyday but I'm also a big believer in wearing fancy jewellery on any occasion!

I bought this one a few weeks ago for my daughter for graduation. I love the shape of the princess cut, it’s a nice weight and very twinkly. I really hope she will like it, she wears alot of yellow gold and I wanted to get her something classy and timeless. I would have loved to buy her the real thing, but slightly out of budget at the moment 😬https://jianlondon.co.uk/Princess-CZ-Diamond-18ct-Gold-plated-Silver-Tennis-Bracelet?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21058728905&gbraid=0AAAAADkZU9VkWuyCCPv1kgp908iMixCe1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwo_PRBhDNARIsAEcVALUHV80oA-9IxaUbATJ8kv3LNqteGV3SVHCQpojNtFq_ArQL9-1Tz8gaAmexEALw_wcB

I have one and it's lovely. I wear it for getting dressed up like black tie. I used to wear it all the time but as I've got older my look is a bit more fashiony so I prefer chunky gold jewelry to offset my middle aged woman COS clothes all in black and grey hahaha

Do you want to adopt me please? 😁

Seriously though, lovely gift, lucky daughter.

TennesseeDreams · 25/06/2026 16:08

FWIW I mix metals. Mainly because all my jewellery comes from deceased estates! My wedding ring is platinum, engagement ring white gold, eternity yellow gold and second eternity ( present to myself) rose gold. Tennis bracelet is platinum and diamond. I love all my pieces and just hope that whoever had them before knows that somehow. Tennis bracelet is tcw 8 ish carats.

Same re wardrobe- it be looks weird with my clothes.

Pleasedontdothat · 25/06/2026 16:14

I have a platinum and diamond one which my late DH gave me for our 20th anniversary - it’s beautiful and very easy to wear - no idea about the tcw though

deeahgwitch · 25/06/2026 16:19

I think a snug fitting diamond set bangle, one where the top half only is diamond set and underneath can be the metal of your choice - gold, white gold, palladium or platinum is better or ensure the tennis bracelet is fairly snug fitting so it doesn’t “drop” too much.
Personally I think diamonds look better with white gold, platinum or palladium.

cupfinalchaos · 25/06/2026 16:23

Yes I have one with baguette cut diamonds and wear it with my watch. Not at moment though as wearing sun cream and can’t be bothered to clean it.

I'm thinking of this (the top one). It has a draw cord on the other side, so will stay snug.
