Ahh just had a nice hour to myself and enjoyed catching up on toast chat! I also have the twisted seam cream trousers @MsDastardley @mizu , I love the idea of them but (I think I said before) keep hearing the good bad and the ugly soundtrack when I try them on. Hoping I happen to have my hands free when the sale starts! Thanks for the reminders and estimations on times @IlovePond !

@Bimblesalong wedding wise I have worn a toast dress (blue summer camp) which on its own felt casual but paired with the orange chia Maria (can’t remember the exact name) orange velvet shoes and for me that was pretty fancy. I’m rubbbbish at accessories though. Recieved/contributed to a long anticipated gold bracelet for my big milestone birthday which hopefully would fancify it! I really struggle with weddings and peoples expectations of what I wear, and feel not great in being overly quaffed! I have a silk linen dress that looks like it’s made of curtain material that I’d wear to a more wintry wedding. Hopefully toast will indeed supply a nice autumn outfit for you!

I’m wearing a very silly pair of pull on baggy jeans from the Anthro sale today, with my Toast long sleeved blue/white striped tee.

They feel quite Toast-like at a fraction of the price. I am not sure I dare go out in public with them on, though 😹 (I am stuck in all day dog-sitting whilst DH is out so have been experimenting with my wardrobe!)

Oh do try the Flower dress, its a stunning shape and the colours arent stark primary at all .
I would say Aegean blue and the flowers are a lovely raspberry not pillar box red

The sale seems to have come around very quickly this year
Theres not much I need now, Im sorted for dresses

Thanks @hicat If the autumn range doesn’t deliver I’ll have a think about fabulous accessories / jacket to go with an existing toast dress. Love the idea of some fabulous velvet shoes. My DH has bought me a steel bracelet Cartier tank watch for my upcoming milestone birthday, which should accessorise it well.

Ooh @Bimblesalong mime was a chunkier thing too (Tiffany hardware microlink). I have never felt I suit delicate things or maybe they don’t suit my personality? And I’m excited to have something so special to wear! (And to bequeath to my daughter on her milestone birthday!)

Finding that I def do have time to keep checking my emails for a sale notice!

Do we think the sale is imminent? There are a few items on my wishlist from a while back. Nothing from the current drop jumps out at me although I do love the dusty Rose colour.

Possibly this week @Yorkshirelass04 if Toast stick to the same timings as last summer’s sale.

My package has arrived. I absolutely love the Emma Carlow skirt - a real keeper. I'm 5'9" and the length is great on me. I fear I shall have to order the top now ...
The page dress and shirt I'm less sure of. Love the dress and it's great with a navy jacket/ cardi and a long blue bead necklace. I can see it being really useful in high temperatures on the cote d'azur. DH doesn't like it at all ... I'd ordered the shirt to see how it looked over the dress as a shacket - it would work well for formal wear but I'm not convinced, so I think the shirt is going back in favour of the Carlow sleeveless top.

I checked my Toast orders..I bought on 18th June last year

The only thing I really want now from Toast at the moment is the navy neat cotton jacket. I'm not sure it will be in the sale so may have to cave at full price.

Also, does anyone like the Toast-adjacent brand The Knotty Ones? I have been buying their knitwear for years and it's all knitted by little old ladies in Lithuania. I saw a Facebook ad today that says they may have to close 😳 Apparently their slow fashion business is hard to maintain. Will be such a shame 😞

I noticed a few days ago that things I liked from earlier in the season had disappeared from the website. But all things that were in stock in most or all sizes a few days before. Odd. I’m hoping it means they are destined for the sale though I have never known Toast to delete current season items and then put them into the sale a week later. 🤔🤔

@ScottishMouse an item or 3 on my wish list have a discounted price but not available to view and don’t go into my basket. I expect these are the sale items. Sadly no linen trousers tho.

Interesting @ScallopShellWalk I have not kept my wishlist up to date in a while so I can’t tell. I’ll just have to wait and see.

I got all excited and tried to put something in my basket but it just disappeared. I wonder what time the sale/email will be?

@ScallopShellWalk i am finding the same thing. Reduced price but the item can’t be viewed or put into the basket.

My last sale email came at 7am.

It’s taking so loooong 😩. Good thing about reducing my wishlist is that I have hopefully reduced compulsive buying. 🤞 I’ve already chosen what I’d like to buy. Though of course there is more but I’ll resist. I’d better. 😬

Only my wishlist has a sale price. I don’t see sale in the website. Sadly the item I added from my wishlist to basket is completely gone. I did manage to get the jumpsuit in my wishlist. I tried via the link and yes I can see the sale. Thank you. I got the jacket I thought was gone. Woopie.
