The first time I saw that Safiyaa dress was in blue on Meghan and it was stunning! CPV has worn it in hot pink and possibly Amalia of the Netherlands too, in a paler colour.

The immediate Belgian Royal family actually don’t have that many tiaras - Mathilde has the big gun nine provinces tiara (which she was wearing last night) and the Wolfers tiara, which is quite petite, then the laurel wreath tiara that Elisabeth wore last night, and was a gift to Mathilde on her engagement.

Queen Paola then has a tiara that is her personal property, and that only she wears.

Before they bought both princesses an 18th birthday tiara, that was it. The late Queen Fabiola , Paola’s sister-in-law and her predecessor as Queen, had another that was a wedding gift from General Franco when Spanish-born Fabiola married King Bedouin of Belgium, but that seems to have disappeared (along with a few of Fabiola’s jewels. It was rumoured she had left them to charities).

They used to sell them in Claire’s Accessories, but they’ve closed down now 😁

Apparently The Princess of Wales met with Melinda Gates at Windsor Castle today.
I can’t find anything to confirm this picture posted on X is from today. If it is she seems to have missed the message that there’s a heatwave. 🤷‍♀️
