Dress me for my 50th please

I'm looking for an amazing outfit for my 50th birthday in July. My theme is sparkles and glitter, so the outfit needs to be sparkly and glittery.

Can you help please?

I won't be happy with full on sequinned outfit. I want something that will shimmer and shine.

I'm so unstylish I have no idea what body shape I am. I've recently lost weight, so there's some saggy skin on my thighs and upper arms.

I like my shoulders and upper chest on show.
My waist has recently been refound.
I've always had an overhanging belly
My new runners calves are looking alright.
I love bright colours.

Size 10/12

Budget up to £100, although I'd be quite happy on vinted.

Lots of the shimmer sparkle dresses online are sold out, saw a lovely All Saints one but sold out.

So short or knee length better?

It's a lovely dress, OP, but it doesn't really meet either the sparkle or the glitter element of your brief.

If I were a guest at your party and turned up adorned with full-on glitter and glitz, I'd feel a bit of a twit and OTT if you, as the host, were wearing this!

Yes, I didn't realise the brief was quite so literal, I thought it was more of an either/or - so the first few I linked weren't so bad, & a few I rather liked. But my taste & the OP's would rarely or never meet, I think. And not because I dislike sequins (which I think you do?).

They're both really good options for sparkly & elegant - in a more low-key or slightly more fashion-y way. Not sure that they match the OP's taste, as what she's liked so far is quite different.

The Scamp & Dude one reminds me of a silver sequinned Whistles dress from years ago (that I still like, & which still crops up on eBay etc). Though I'd have to pick off the annoying pink lightning flash - I don't want to be "branded"!!
