Newbie here but needing advice.
my daughter is looking for prom dresses. She is 16 and wants to look amazing of course. However she is a size 20 due to medical issues.
I just can’t seem to find anything that isn’t too plain and too old for her. She’s getting increasingly upset.
I’m not rich by any means so can afford custom made etc.
Does anybody have any ideas out can point me in the right direction.
She wants it to be blue and shoe off her bust!!
Thank you.

OP it is very easy to add rhinestones. I stone all my daughter's ballroom dance dresses. Get some gemtac off Amazon (about a tenner) and some flat backed rhinestones off Amazon. Have a practice. It's really easy but time consuming.

My DD has her prom in June too. We bought off Vinted but the seller allowed us to go to her house to try the dress on. Prom dresses are weird sizes. My DD is a size 6-8 and the dress she has bought is a size 0 🙄. Even if that's American size 0, that would make it a size 2-4 UK tops. Her little sister is that size and it's way too big for her. What I'm saying is, definitely try some on if possible. That size 18 one might actually be perfect. Also, a corset back would be a godsend. You could add some navy fabric behind the corset back if it's a bit too wide. Especially with a dark colour-no one would know.

Let me know if you want some guidance with stoning the dress. Promise you it's is dead easy ☺️

My daughter just ordered her prom dress off Leely . The website has gorgeous dresses and 15% off first order so it was all under £120 with delivery.
