Prom dress advice

Newbie here but needing advice.
my daughter is looking for prom dresses. She is 16 and wants to look amazing of course. However she is a size 20 due to medical issues.
I just can’t seem to find anything that isn’t too plain and too old for her. She’s getting increasingly upset.
I’m not rich by any means so can afford custom made etc.
Does anybody have any ideas out can point me in the right direction.
She wants it to be blue and shoe off her bust!!

she doesn’t like anything on Shein. JJs don’t have enough sparkle.

Have a look at JJ prom dresses online. My DD got one and it is beautiful. Well made and reasonable cost ( under £200).

A dressmaker may be make the design she wants. I’m not sure how much that but she could choose her own fabric.

We’ve seen that and she doesn’t like it.

I've checked ASOS but no sparkles. I think your budget might be fighting the desire for sparkles since sewing on sequins in what raises the cost. You could buy a dress in the right shape and sew on sequins yourself if you're handy.

Also, don't cry, the power of mumsnet will find a good dress.

This is on ebay up to size 24 under £60 delivered but from china so not sure if the dates ok. when is prom?

Could you find a dress that she likes the style of and then get someone to add some sparkle on?
