Will the 20% off fragrance on Saturday include kits and fragrance edits, do we think? (I can’t write this sentence without sounding like yoda. I tried three times)

It’s on Sunday and the T&C’s said they are not included but if they have a glitch they may be.

Thanks - so it is! Thanks for t&cs

Is is wrong that I'm seriously considering the GA gwp as I'm in London tomorrow, even though I hated the hand cream that was in the last bd so much that I've only used it on my feet? My feet do feel lovely and soft though

Absolutely not! If I could get to London tomorrow it would be top of my list. I didn’t like the hand cream but I find their products similar to Votary. I had just finished a votary serum and started GA one afterwards and they felt like the same serum. I quite like their exfoliator. I like these enough to go for the GA GWP if they could get there.

Nice free prai set when you purchase 2 items including the single use neck mask which is priced at £12. Anyone tried these neck sheet masks?

Edited to apologise: wrong thread. Sorry!

Maybe we could do some swaps when we get the scent kit if we don’t get what we would ideally like?

Doubt it. Says selected fragrance. Usually kits are excluded.

Lurkingshark · 16/07/2026 23:27

i am Up for swaps! I did a 12 days advent last year with last October (?) kit and a CB stocking. It was great actually.

Beautyfox · 17/07/2026 08:07

Looks like there’s only 20 available for those heading into store.

edited to add: maybe only 19 after @Fillybuster early lucky purchase. 😂

Good grief @Beautyfox - that’s ridiculous! Plus they let someone on here have the GA box earlier in the week, (without showing the email, as it hadn’t been sent), so presumably they are down to 19!

My email came through at 8am - even if I legged it out the door now I wouldn’t get there until well after the shop opened 😹

Unless you are already in London this morning and can leap to Liberty as soon as the doors open, there’s no chance of getting your mitts on this!

What a weird promotion, (imo!)

Addictedtobeauty · 17/07/2026 08:21

Oh I’m very peeved by this news. 20 is outrageous. And Liberty giving one out early when there are so few available is poor. I bet a few others also tried their luck after the posting on here too. Poor show, Liberty.

IlovePond · 17/07/2026 08:22

I’m also wondering if the assistant who let @Fillybuster have the GWP got an almighty telling off afterwards. Such a weird promotion!

Addictedtobeauty · 17/07/2026 08:26

Positives- it’s saved me £55 (my planned GA spend) which can go towards a lovely lunch with my DD instead.

IlovePond · 17/07/2026 08:32

Indeed @Addictedtobeauty - I will be near Liberty this pm, so might well have been tempted to buy yet more stuff I don’t need as I do find it difficult to resist a GWP 😹

I don’t even like GA products 🙈

OvaHere · 17/07/2026 08:39

Just an opinion on the GA Exfoliating Handwash that's in the gwp box. I had one of those in my last empties post. It does feels quite nice and makes the hands soft but the microbeads (or whatever the gritty bits are) get everywhere.

I made the mistake of putting it in the downstairs toilet and the rest of my family complained bitterly. It requires a lot of rinsing to get all the grit off and a lot of still it ends up on the hand towel thus transferring more grit back when everyone dries their hands.

Unless you don't share a bathroom with anyone I actually think it might work better as a body product in the shower.

I had this from somewhere too and I did move from the basin to the shower and use it as a body exfoliator. Hands don’t need physical exfoliation several times a day!

IlovePond · 17/07/2026 08:48

I didn’t know such a thing existed as an exfoliating handwash, until I read about it on here. I thought it was such a weird idea @OvaHere and @Addictedtobeauty!

That's an almost pointless amount. If gwps are supposed to help promote a brand, all that's going to do is annoy potential customers. It's managing to put me off GA almost as much as that fusty smelling hand cream did.

IlovePond · 17/07/2026 08:52

Agree completely @ClutteredPalace - there will be grumpiness at the counter today, I fear!

That hand cream totally put me off the whole brand. I have another hand cream and a moisturiser to use up but I can’t say I am enthusiastic about the prospect. All three came in GWP or edits or the BD - I wouldn’t have bought them separately.

I think it came in that great CEW awards box at the end of last year. I didn't hate the product - it was just awkward as a hand wash.

I have 2 hand washes on my sink (one normal and one exfoliating). I was introduced to exfoliating handwash many years ago in a body shop advent calendar. It’s wonderful for getting makeup off your hands but def not an every time you visit the bathroom handwash.

Campingintherain2024 · 17/07/2026 09:05

I spent all of my BD credit and vouchers on the 20pc off make up the other day. I think its due to be delivered today. I had never tried westman atelier before but after trying the lip liner and loving it I have the cream blush, highlighter, and brow pencil coming. I think everything else is from ilia. I'm so pleased that the boxes are finally working for me and I'm trying new products. I've really just stuck to skincare, perfume and kits before.

IlovePond · 17/07/2026 09:08

Crabtree and Evelyn (are they still around?) did a lovely exfoliating gardeners' handwash with my mother in law loved. Said it was the best thing for getting ground in dirt out of your hands. But as PPs have said, not something you need to be using every time you go to the loo!

BCSurvivor · 17/07/2026 10:03

Has anyone caved and bought the fragrance kit?
