@MrsBnow12 - thanks for that. I do get Liberty BD emails usually, but I didn’t get this one about the GA gift. Just as well I am not bothered about it, but it’s still a bit annoying!

There wasn’t an email about this GA offer and it hasn’t been mentioned in any correspondence from Liberty.
The only reason I know about it is by looking up the promotional terms and conditions on the Liberty website to see what would be coming up in BD week.

That’s so bizarre @Addictedtobeauty - especially as it mentions an email in the t&c.

@IlovePond I expect they will send the email in Friday when the offer is supposed to start. I get an email each morning with the offer of the day.

I am not sure if this is new kit? I ordered two, not that I am certain I will love it but I want to cancel my beauty drop. I have to use forwarding service so add another 11 gbp every time there is a box, and I honestly enjoyed all boxes but didn't feel any of them have been amazing. I don't love the advent content either, so while I enjoyed it I will give it a miss for some time.

I like the look of this but it's annoying that you don't know quite what you're getting. I really like Adelphi Sun but I'd no doubt get one of the others.

Oh wow, this is exactly what I've been waiting for from Liberty! I don't want the advent and want to spend my credit on a good value edit. Unfortunately, I have most of these perfumes already!
I've bought most fragrance advent/edits from Liberty, SNK etc for a few years now and takes so long to finish even 8ml bottles now.

I will still go for this though as there are 5 definite new scents for me, possibly 6 if I get the Liberty Vine Thief option. Vilhelm Mango Skin is on of my favourites and I'd be happy for a backup of.

Me too as I don't like Maze & already have Vine Thief (love it but think it's more of an Autumn/Winter scent for me) & Wild Rosinda (which I've gone off)

Bag is nice too but I've got so many toiletry/make up bags that I could start a shop!

Thanks for sharing, I was hoping one would be released this week. I have used my loyalty voucher to get this.

I don't like Varyo and PDM Valya perfumes, but I am looking forward trying the rest. I usually like summer scents. the Ex Nihilo is nice, I have not tried Mango Skin before. Hopefully I find few I like.

There's a few I don't have and wouldn't mind trying but there's too many duplicates of things I have. I know I could sell on stuff I don't want but it's a faff to be doing that sometimes. Also not 100% decided on the advent so I don't want to part with my vouchers just yet.

The scent edit is £99 with BD. With 12 scents it's quite tempting to buy & refill my old Harvey Nichols 12 Day AC for Christmas. It would be a cheaper way to have a fragrance AC.
I'd really want Maze though - I didn't like Vine Thief and I have the others.

I think Maze was in the kit from last summer. I really like that one.

I’ve not tried GA yet - have a few bits and pieces lined up in the stash queue but nothing open, so this felt like a great opportunity to try a huge amount of products for not much investment!

Sorry to everyone for causing confusion about the GA promo and dates: it is 17th not 16th (I got that completely wrong!) and there’s been no emails yet except a mention, I think, of a GA promo coming up in one of the pre drop messages. The details were all in the t&cs, and I when realised I was going to be there a day (or two…ahem….😵‍💫) early, I thought it was worth a try. But nothing official announced yet by email.

As others have said, I really don't like the either or options for some of the fragrances - I like to know what I'm getting.
Particularly with the Liberty ones, as the only one I really like out of the three is Adelphi sun.
I remember in a previous kit there was an either or with Adelphi Sun and Maze, and I ended up with Maze, which smelled lovely on card, but awful on my skin.

@Housewife2010 actually the advent idea is really good if someone wanted to make a scent advent as a gift.

@OvaHere I've gone for it now which means I'm definitely not getting the advent. On balance, I'm happier with this edit and remaining £80 credit so shows the BAC just wasn't right for me this year.

I agree about the duplicates and I am too lazy to sell on Vinted so i'll be giving them away (sometimes forcing them on people!) But a couple of backups I don't mind having.

They're duplucates for me but actually I don't mind Liberty, SNK etc repeating items. They need to have wide appeal and we're a niche group here that buy everything!!

Ill get one as have beauty drop credit and not getting the advent. I still have a lot of last ywars stuff. I came across it yesterday whilst having a sort out 🤣

I'm going to think about the scent kit for a bit before the inevitable fomo kicks in and I buy it later. I don't have most of the scents and I'm happy to double up on the ones I do have.

I've had a better look at the edit and think I'll leave it. Too many sweet/fruity/gourmand scents for me. The Matiere Metal Lavender is the one that appeals most to me. I had a sample of Maze in a BD box & liked it, so if that was a definite I'd have been slightly more tempted.
I have so many scents - I should rediscover some of my stash.

I probably need to take a year off buying scent. At the start of the year I had three, now I've got so many it would take a year to get through half of them. They are far more of a weakness than skin care for me.

Will the 20% off fragrance on Saturday include kits and fragrance edits, do we think? (I can’t write this sentence without sounding like yoda. I tried three times)

I hope it includes Adelphi Sun. It’s the first Liberty scent I love and have entertained buying.
