Lovely new niche scented thread ready for our April box.

Not yet- but I’m going in to store today. If I can guarantee getting Adelphi Sun, I’ll purchase. Otherwise I’ll hold off for a discount/decent gwp.

I also only want Adelphi Sun, and would be disappointed if it wasn't included.
Not knowing the fragrances included is what's putting me off ordering.

I've bought it and I'm also hoping for Adelphi Sun. I haven't tried any of the other Liberty scents as I've only been a BD member since the start of the year though so I don't mind too much if I get something different.

I've ordered and the Liberty option I want is Vine Thief as I have the others already.

I've never tried the Fabrica or Ophera so either of those would be fine. It won't do me any good to check the notes and see which sounds best so I'll take what I get!

I don't want either of the Escentric Molecules to be honest and I have loads of these waiting to be given away. They just don't excite me for some reason.

The Escentric Molecules with mandarin is actually really nice. I'm not a fan of the other one.

I agree actually, mandarin and the ginger one I do use but I have backups of both! They are just so ubiquitous, a bit like PK Elasticizer where a good product gets a bad reputation with me ☺️

Who else went to liberty today? i was there before it opened, lots of other people waiting outside. But grown alchemist were filming an ad with Helena bonham carter and that whole part of the beauty department was blocked off. So you couldn’t make a Grown Alchemist, Violette FR purchase etc if you wanted to. They didn’t know when they’d be done filming. I think there must have been more than 20 GWP else they’d end up with loads of annoyed people at lunchtime?

@BakeOffRewatch they still had them this afternoon around 4pm, 3 left.

It's a bit bizarre they did that with the advert whilst publicising the GWP and limited numbers - where's the logic there Liberty? If anyone turned up just for the promotion they'd justifiably be annoyed so a bit of an own goal in terms of brand relations.

Probably just the usual Liberty thoughtlessness. Beauty Drop promo department have no idea about the big film star filming promo department. Though if I understood correctly the filming was for grown alchemist so yeah why did they decide to do promo same day. Or maybe it wasn’t for GA specifically and none of the GA people could help or be around cos they weren’t allowed there themselves.

Well they clearly had more than they said. I was there at 1 pm and got one- they claimed there was only three left then 😂
Ghe scent edit in store were (according to the lady on the Lbty perfume sales desk) all Maze. She said the whole first batch they’d had in were Maze and she was expecting a second delivery on Monday.

I popped in Liberty and had a lovely chat with the LBTY perfume lady, who also gave me 2 samples. I think she was probably relieved I didn’t nick a hand cream, like someone did when we were chatting !

@SummerLimes the LBTY perfume lady is lovely - well if it's the same one older lady with short blondy hair. I think she might be Spanish.

I didn't think Liberty shoppers were like that!
But I suppose you get them everywhere!

I also popped in and had a good chat with the Bibbi perfumes lady because I wanted to try the Deep Lotus I got in the Harrods tote - and she gave me another Swimming Pool sample - it was generally hated on here but I absolutely love it and will probably buy the 30ml on sunday when it's 20% off. Such an unusual fresh scent.

I love swimming pool too! I really wish they did a body lotion.

Another Swimming Pool fan here, it's perfect for summer.

Harrods have it worse there was actual fighting over the last fragvent calendar one year!

I flip and flop between loving it and not loving it....it's an acquired taste for sure

I didn’t love Swimming Pool but when I wear it I ALWAYS get compliments so it must smell alright 🤷‍♀️.

She asked me to guard the counter while she went to get a specific sample 😂

There were security guards at the Liberty Jellycats opening - it can get a bit fraught in the teddy section I understand.

I’ve just ordered the liberty jellycats online for my DD. Admittedly they still need to turn up but no queueing, no fights just a bit of nervousness if they would be in stock. 😂

@Beautyfox you’ll be ok they had loads and were constantly restocking. I wasn’t there on day 1 so didn’t see any drama. My DD loves hers 😊

I adore Swimming Pool it smells quite lemony rosy on me but perfumes always smell very different on me.
