Either? Or neither?

Help me decide which shoe?

The Gucci ones are fab, I’d choose those.

I REALLY love your knotty one from your first pair. The latter pair are more last year ish, chunkier profile, squatter toe box. They are safer, I would choose the suede knotted again.

BUT I think your BV pair are much more modern for this and probably next season, lower profile at toe and soft puckers are very now; in fact a bit ahead of the curve. Much more AW26 shaping.

I’d say get those OP if you like them, the problem is they are a new style and design, not yet filtered through to on the High street hence the responses from PPs. I bet it was the same with barrel or balloon jeans (was for me, took ages for my eye to like them on others!). In shops at the mo it’s all chunkier still.

You’ll be laughing next spring when m&s and Next are packed to gunnels and these shoes are ubiquitous!

Which pair sing to you? Get those then! You are looking to spend a good wodge here, I’d personally want to be paying for leading design, edge, rather than something which looks like it came from many high st shops.

Thanks for the response - that's helpful. I like the BV best on my foot, but I'm traditionally more of a chunky than delicate shoe person when it comes to flats, so I'm trying to get myself to branch out.

I'm glad you said that about that look not yet having filtered down as I was a bit surprised by all the hate because it seems like almost everything I was looking at was soft puckers. And I hear you on the jeans shapes - I remember thinking at first, people aren't going to actually wear those...

Definitely the snaffle one. The other one resembles a DIY project in my personal opinion…

I preferred the shoes from your initial post, btw.
I didn’t read all your updates / missed what happened to them…

Edited

The knotted one (the non-snaffle one) in the new post is one of the shoes in my original post - I returned the penny loafer ones because the fit didn't feel quite right, a little too big, but a size down would have been too small.

Just for clarification- I don’t care if everything is puckered next year and you’re really ahead of the fashion curve. They remind me of bum holes. I’d rather go unshod!
