@OvaHere @MrsBnow12 the first makeup that I've ever bought from chanel is that denim dream eyeshadow quad from earlier this year. I'm definitely more of a dior girl. My gran always dressed like a chanel woman, so to me, I think I associated the brand with my gran for a long time and wouldn't touch it 🤣 even though she did always look very well put together.

I don't really like the blushers either and the foundation always looks cakey on me. So it tends to be mainly the lip products and eyeshadows that I buy. This is defo my biggest haul ever, my mum did once get me the big holiday palette and highlighter and we got a gift for it but this is the first time that I've spent enough for a gift. But even after spending all of that, I'm now tempted now to buy the dior pink highlighter from the sephora sale 🙈 what is wrong with me?! I'm also eyeing up a coral blush from gucci because of nice packaging 🤣 Does anyone know if the pink highlighter has glitter in? I keep saying that I'm against glittery highlighter but when I looked through my highlighters, my too faced glittery one is the only one I've hit pan on 🤣

Also, is anyone planning on getting one of those half and half too faced bronzer blush highlighter things? I'm not quite sure what they are but they've peaked my interest.

@JoRaRaRa I would suggest watching the latest Morgan Turner YouTube, she has just done a ‘pink’ Dior video.
I am a Dior over Chanel person, I have used their foundation for the last few years and love their blushes and highlighters, I have steered away from the eyeshadows and gone with Viseart and Natasha Denona although this have picked up Patrick Ta, D&G and Guerlain palettes to try this year and of course Lisa Eldridge.

That's just talked me into getting it 🤪🤣 It's a bit annoying that I paid full price for the morphe yacht day blush last week and now sephora has it in the sale. Oh well! I'm trying to focus on dior products anyway as it's not often you can get them with 20% off.

@OvaHere Debenhams also sent me a £10 voucher for filling in a survey.
Not even looked at site as spent a lot this week. The minimum spend is a pain.

@IlovePond im going to test some of the samples after and see if theres any i love. Then try to use it. Want it to be worthwhile though and not just for the sake of it. X

I'm just reading all these posts from my sunlounger in the shade and feeling like a fraud, I barely wear make up (I'm just a mascara, lip balm, cc cream person) nowadays, and the thought of spending that much on blusher makes me panic! I am still paying off ivf debt though, so when it's done will have much more disposable income to hopefully become glamorous with 😂

I have images of you all in my head looking perfectly made up to put out the bins whilst I'm congratulating myself for cleansing twice a day 😂🤣

I think my skin refers this medik 8 to the advanced one. Same with the vit c tetra.

I have one Chanel lipstick, I think it's the Rouge Allure and it might be the nicest formula I own in a lipstick.

You are definitely not a fraud! I don’t even use Mascara or CC cream. I do have lip balm 😊

My skin has suffered over the (centuries) years, (medication), hence why I find this group so lovely and helpful. I can’t wear most makeup, and skincare was a nightmare until I found some good advice here, but I do love the pretty colours and the passion every one has for it.

It’s such a lovely, friendly place and we participate as much, or as little as we want.

You’ve been on a really tough journey with IVF, that’s so hard. Makeup doesn’t have to expensive, sometimes it’s just a little treat from Vinted that makes you smile ♥️

Boots haircare gwp. Spend is quite high for hair stuff at £70 but the gwp looks nice. The purple Pureology shampoo is lovely.

@LouScot Day 6 of our holiday and I’ve only worn makeup once 😅 At home I sometimes do CC and a multi use product for cheeks/ lips but also rarely wear it. I just like having it! I think it’s a throwback to my younger years when I was very into makeup (and needed it as I had terrible skin which thankfully I no longer do). So you’re not alone (but much more sensible in not buying it!).

I added it to favourites but not there now and nothing to say its been sold. Weird.

£10 cult fragrance voucher update. Tested on bigger jo malone sizes says voucher not valid. I give up 🤣

I am seriously considering taking a chance on the FtF mystery set. Surely they have to be good products for a RRP of over £300 even if it isn’t the MZ Skin serum. 🤔

I'm almost certain it is the MZ Serum. It's quite distinctive packaging.

Ouai mists it works on. Also the nuxe fragrances

I rarely used to wear it and couldn't justify expensive stuff. Now I'm older, no small kids etc. and I've had a glow up as they say, really just because I can. I do wear make up most days now because I can't bear for it to go to waste.

I'd happily go more or less bare faced, I'm definitely not someone who can't be seen without a face on but I own a mini Sephora now and I've invested quite a bit of time learning how to use it all! 😂

I had this issue and customer services issued me with account credit to the value of £10 which was great because I could spend it on anything. Although I did buy Jo loves roses and fig travel set.
I contacted customer services via WhatsApp. They said they would raise it with operations and within an hour I had an email confirming the account credit.

I also think it is the MZ serum, they state the value is £361 and the MZ is £340 and Oskia is £21 so the value adds up as well as container shape.
Mine is due to be delivered on Tuesday so will report back.

I had a little trip out today with DS to do some fragrance testing of the SNK edits (he wanted to test some in Selfridges). Typically the ones I liked were half from each edit, so I’ll probably keep and sell the rest rather than return a set.

I also had a look at Dior, I wanted to test the highlighter quad in coral but they didn’t have it. Anyway, from the ones I did test, I think the universal glow one is best for me (looking online it was between coral and rose)
They didn’t have any of the new releases so I’m safe from those - I do still have my Hourglass palettes to use up anyway.

I held off my YSL blush purchase last night as I was tired. I tested that while I was out and decided it’s too pink for me, so it’s a good job I waited.

I can’t believe how much money I’ve spent online over the past few months, yet when I get a chance to go shopping IRL I don’t buy anything 🙈😅 Probably because I know I can get a discount at some point online
