I bought the morphe contour stick and now prefer it to the VBB one. I think it blends easier and the price difference makes it an absolute winner 😍

@JoRaRaRa I’ve told them yesterday I will be expecting compensation for my time and inconvenience. Their reply, please wait 2-3 more days, and send us some more photos! FFS 🤦‍♀️

@Beautyfox I don’t have a WhatsApp number for them. I’ve been contacting them on the app, but they sign off their messages and it’s different people (though the same one a couple of times).

I did leave a trust pilot review and they asked me to contact them to discuss, but what’s the point when they are this useless?!

@Thelifeofawife send them everything in a message, photos, batch number, expected resolution, anything they could possibly ask, all in one. I think you might need to get a bit 'angry' with them for them to actually take it seriously. If not, just send it back as a normal return. When does your time to send it back expire?

The slim contour sticks are really good. I also got darker powder a while back to use in the summer. The quality does always seem good for the price.

@Thelifeofawife although, I do think it depends on which Cs staff you get, unfortunately. They don't seem to have set processes in place.

I have gotten a bit angry, told them how unacceptable this is and that it’s clear they aren’t taking it seriously.
I’ve literally sent them everything they have asked for - even duplicates of the information because they asked again. I just can’t be bothered to waste my time now.
I have given in and responded to their request for more information on my Trust Pilot review, if they pick it up from there I will engage, if not I’ll put a claim through the bank on Monday. I’ve had enough. And they have had ample time.

I did consider trying to just put it through as a normal return, but it will be just my luck that they will actually do quality control on it this time and reject the return!

Regarding SNK, how long did that return take to process? I returned my Betty palette but because there was a glitch on my account due to ordering in store, they emailed me a returns label - so I can’t see any updates on my account. Not sure how long I should expect to wait to hear something.

In happier news, I received my Debenhams edits today 😃 The Decree serum was the reason I bought 2 of them 😁
I am unsure about the fragrances at the moment. I sprayed one on each wrist, and I the one I initially thought ‘no’ settled really nicely - ‘mother x love’. The other, ‘delices des Bois’ (in the gold pouch) I feel it’s a bit like the Sparking Jo from Liberty.
Anyway, I was giving my little doggie some cuddles and she was giving both hands/wrists a good sniff, I concluded that she seemed to like the ‘mother x love’ one most 🐶… then a few minutes later I remembered that I’d given her some treats not long before and she could probably still smell them on my hand 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

@Thelifeofawife oh it was a right hassle, hopefully it goes better for you. It seemed to go well until them actually refunding me, then they gave all excuses as to why the money hadn't gone into my account 🙈 Luckily, I track returns, and no longer trust that they'll do it, so I kept chasing for it.

Selfridges have probably been the worse for me with returns though. They refused that they'd received it when I could see on tracking that they had. It took months to sort out. I'm not sure why I still buy from them 🤣

@Thelifeofawife i also received my 2x debenhams edits today. Typical when the husband is in 🙄🤣 I liked the perfume in the gold sleeve, wasn't sure on the other one but I'll try it properly tomorrow. I'm going to sell a few things as I defo don't need 2 makeup bag stand things. Actually, I don't need 1, I kept the ysl fold out bag thingy that I put my brushes in so that'll do. I'm going to keep the Decrees and mascara from both and then sell some of the other stuff.

Ive not found them too bad, maybe its the luck of the draw who you get.

Gold award for shite customer services goes to Debenhams, with Harvey Nichols a close second.

I fear this will be me, that despite my rage towards CB, they will bring out a great edit or discount and I’ll be sucked back in 🙈😅

I’ve sent them a message to say I’m not sending anything else, it’s ridiculous to ask after 17 days of waiting, and that it’s a shame their quality control wasn’t so strict when allowing it to be returned the first time then resold to me.

There’s a few bits I will sell from the Debenhams edit as well. It’s a good range of stuff but I don’t need 2 of everything.
The mascara was one of the draws for me, but I’ve decided I’m not a big fan of it after using the one I got in BAC (can’t recall if it was in SNK or HN). I might keep one as a back up (of the many back ups I already have 😅)
Speaking of the HN BAC, the eyelash curler in there was one of my reasons for justifying buying another BAC (yes I know I could have just bought one 🤣), I only used it for several weeks and it broke! I was fuming …good job I have all the other items in the BAC to soften the blow 😁

Also, re Debenhams, I was surprised when my delivery arrived today, it came in a Boohoo bag! I was thinking “what on earth have I bought now, I don’t remember buying anything from there” 😅

Hi. I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to pop on to give some thanks for a few recent recommendations on here.

I bought 3 of the FTF mystery boxes and the Treat Tinture has made a difference to my skin (I've had comments) in just a few weeks. I've also bought the Debenhms edit linked above and like the perfumes/have started using the Decree AM serum. Only the brushes case is a dud for me, which is good going for a box/edit. Thank you to whoever originaly recommended those items,

I am trying not to build up too much of a stash - but this group really does find some great deals. Thank you.

I must stay strong - I have thrown away more old/disliked stuff this morning and put my current make up in my new Stackers box.

Damn. I kept on ignoring the siren call of the FTF mystery box with the serum & now wonder if that was foolish?

Here’s the thing: I need to do some proper research into retinol / retinoids. I have had a monthly prescription for Differin (adapalene) for some time)because I had a couple of small breakouts a while back) although don’t usually collect it because I barely use it. I recently discovered that it’s potentially even more effective than high strength beauty products for dealing with skin repair, but only available on prescription for acne. So now I need to work out whether I switch to using that every night for a bit, or mix it up with my medik8 retinol every other night or stick to just the medik8 for now. All advice very welcome!

In other news, I was worried about my Vanilla Powder being empty so I opened it. Scent is present. I’ve given it a go and quite like it. It’s not chypre enough to be a true love but it’s nice and smells expensive!
