Morning, I am confused about CB’s five samples offer - I have put five in my bag and it’s coming to £25 and no £10 voucher.

It says clearly in the sample page: Buy 5 samples for £5 and get the £10 voucher.

I suppose they could have missed out the ‘each’ by accident and for some reason the voucher also isn’t activating.

Has anyone gone for this offer and got it to work?

I was wanting to buy a sample of Lola and Juice so I could find out if I liked them before opening the ones I got in the edit.

ATM, I am holding firm on my bid to remove teeny tiny bottles of products from my life, so am not tempted by the SNK GWP.

I don’t count perfume minis in this as they are useful!

I am really pleased to have 5 samples for a fiver. I added a small L’Occitane shower gel to get to free delivery. (Not quite a mini and lasts a while - plus it’s my favourite shower gel atm).

Code: JAMIECB worked on the shower gel so the whole order came to £10.60.

I am so pleased as I can now check out the Lola and Juice and then sell the 10ml bottles if I hate the smell!

Ah, speaking of CB - do remember to remove your cc from the wallet - they sneakily save your cc details without asking!

My £10 fragrance voucher has arrived in my inbox.

It says £10 off any full-size fragrance, which may make it more useable - I am also wondering if it would stack with other codes and/or work on reduced fragrances.

I guess we shall see - it’s valid for 12 months, so CB will almost definitely have a 20% off everything promotion at some point and I can try to use the voucher then.

I'm definitely going for the CB fragrance samples - can anyone recommend any of them in particular to try?

I like quite unsophisticated vanilla/floral/boring scents 😆 My favourite current is PDM Oriana. I also like Delina de la rosee (not original Delina). In the past I've bought Miss Dior, J'Adore, Armani My Way, Juliette has a gun Musc Invisible.

I had the CB perfume stocking and I liked commodity milk but wasn't particularly keen on any others. I'm very fussy!

@namechange0998776554799000 - I picked the Nest as it’s 3ml and I liked the Nest sample I got in the CB Fragrance GWP.

I then chose the Fugazzi and the JM Sea Salt.

I also got Lola and Juice to check out before opening the ones from the edit.

I'm leaning towards not getting the SNK GWP, because some of the things I wanted to try have vitamin c in, which I'm going to avoid for a while, some are very tiny, and there are quite a few things I already own. If there was another offer that stacked I'd consider it - they did have £10 off until yesterday but I assume that would be gone once the GWP launched. Anything I could buy from SNK I can get at least 20% cheaper somewhere else so it feels wrong to buy it full price.

The main thing on my list is an Elemis eye cream - having tried about 6 different ones, this is the only one that doesn't sting and really seems to make a difference. It's £76 in SNK though so I can't bring myself to pay that much when I can get it for £60 elsewhere!

Ah - I DIDN’T get Juice - which is annoying! I chose the Maison Margiela instead.

Very boring but I got five of the JM Cypress & Woodvine Cologne samples as I really like it but something has held me back from buying a full bottle.

@IlovePond it didn’t stack with offers for me which is annoying!

@Lurkingshark - the code wouldn’t stack with the perfume samples in the offer, but it worked on the L’Occitane, so I got some money off that.

Thanks for the perfume recommendations and code, I added a lip balm to get free delivery. I've had the £10 voucher email come through (surprisingly seamless for CB), I'm very happy and feel like my itch has been scratched for the day so I can avoid the SNK GWP and pay myself on the head for spending £20 rather than £100

I’ve just ordered the five samples plus the perfume edit, which I had previously told myself I absolutely wasn’t going to get 😆

I’ve ordered a lot today. The perfumes and Aveda products from CB. VB make up from SNK to get the GWP even though I’d previously dismissed it.

@namechange0998776554799000 i don’t know if this helps but the JL cracker (containing the Elemis 4mp eye cream) is down to £14 with a further 10% off of you enter an extra code at checkout. I am kicking myself because in my rush to buy the MD box which suddenly came back into stock online last night I forgot to enter the extra code - I bought 2 more crackers for the eye cream, the medik8 retinol & the shiseido cream. I’ll probably sell the KS cleanser but even if I don’t it seems like great value.

Thanks for pointing out the samples offer - I got five samples plus the Avene lip cream for cracked lips as mine are still wintry and dry. I chose Fugazzi Angel Dust (somehow I've never tried this), JM wood sage and sea salt, then 3x Vyrao ones. Used the code and paid £11.80. Happy with that!
