Hello are factually incorrect?!? You are all right but there is no real picture of the back of her hair. The one in the car below is probably the closest to a back view.

Just going back to Catherine’s grey dress - I’ve seen this on TikTok. Not sure if I like the corset tbh.

I don't think the outfit does her many favours, possibly the colour, but I always think having her hair off her face really suits her and makes the length immaterial.

Also .. I don’t think anyone has mentioned that Kate’s ( let’s call it “ Marmite outfit”) is double breasted!!!

Gosh doesn't Anne look like Princess Margaret in this photo!

My mum always used to wear her hair in an updo like Princess Anne's. With long hair it's so easy to do in the morning and then forget about it. Kind of goes with Anne's no-nonsense approach to life. I love her approach to clothes, pulling stuff out of her closet from years ago - she always looks appropriate and stylish. However the Duchess of Gloucester takes her jewels and fashion to another level - she's so stylish and stunning. Camilla looked good too.

I think Kate was dressed appropriately for both events - but personally neither stood out as being as stunning as she usually looks. My favourite of all was the gold gown she wore to the state dinner for Trump, absolutely beautiful.

I wonder if it gets tedious for the royal ladies to have to think ahead as to what to wear to all the various events they attend, with the inevitable scrutiny? Probably!!!! Even though I suppose their stylists handle most of it.

I do think Kate’s hair worn down was the right choice for the grey outfit, it would have been too severe otherwise. I prefer it down her back as in that photo rather than forward over her shoulders for formal outfits though. As for the double-breasted fastening, when it fits as perfectly as that and is on such a long dress/coat it is really flattering.

Anne really does look like Margaret in that photo, I agree.

I think Harriet Sperling could ingratiate herself with Kate by offering her styling advice. She always looks fabulous and clearly has an eye.

I didn't love the hat but it works as part of the outfit. I don't like the corset back either but I don't like corset detail on any dresses, not just this one.

I agree! Not keen on the corset back either, funnily enough I actually liked the outfit and hat from the front but not from the back.

I like this one - I just read online that the sapphire is a detachable brooch that can also be swapped for an emerald one. Apparently it hasn't been seen since Princess Margaret wore it

I really think Anne's coat/dress was the outfit of the night for me. I love it in its first outing too. Would love to see her (or someone) wear the dress and coat from that occasion together.

I always think of Anne as blonde - but she isn't - was she ever?

Usually her hair is darker so I didn’t recognise her( plus she has had “work done”.

Kate could do worse than to ask the DoG for styling advice - she never puts a foot wrong and is always the epitome of elegance.
