We set a record with the last thread. Just 2 weeks from start to finish!!!!

So here's the new one and we're now in double digits.

As always everyone is welcome to join even if you've just been lurking, but like those kids on the back of the school bus your Mum warned you about, we are a bad influence.... 😈

@LoveLabradors I know! I didn’t even use a code, my order was made on Wednesday! I paid almost full price - just used a recycleme:me voucher!

Willow742 · 21/02/2026 13:25

Received my advent calendar from Cult Beauty - I'm missing the Sisley mask but have an extra CT wand which I'm more than happy with 😊 my other items are now out for delivery with relay, overall a major success! Thank you so much for the code @HolaLolla🙏🏻

CorneliaStreet · 21/02/2026 13:33

The thing that pisses me off most about Cult Beauty is when they do the spend £x, get £x off but spend more, get £more off to encourage people to spend more, but the percentage discount is the same however much you spend.

With all these sites, there are so many 20% discount codes that paying full price seems silly unless it’s a likely to sell out edit, though even those seem to hang around these days (probably because everyone is waiting for a code!).

Same with Escentual, they seem more straight up than CB but when I know they have 25% off everything a few times a year, why would I shop there any other time?

I sort of respect Lush more, who just have a 50% off everything sale twice a year (though Lush is probably problematic in other ways).

Hicupping · 21/02/2026 13:42

Got my CB stuff which was a surprise. Trying the Ouai Santorini which I swear smells like Timotei used to.

The lay flat stuff, I bought a couple of satin draw string night caps when I was encouraging my wavy hair which didn't last long, too much like hard work but that caps make excellent makeup bags. Pretty contrasting satin inside and out with elasticated draw string.

Also - sorry I’m full of questions today - any recommendations for products to take flyaway hair? I seem to have a lot of broken hair strands. I’m blaming the 2 yo.

When I've finished doing my hair, I spray hairspray onto a brush and brush it through my hair. It helps with frizzy hair and flyaways but doesn't leave your hair all crunchy like it would if you spray directly on your head. Hope that helps 😊

JoRaRaRa · 21/02/2026 14:10

@CorneliaStreet I used to buy all no7 stuff, but I knew they'd have a 3 for 2 or a £10 off voucher soon, so I'd always wait. Very rarely would I pay full price for anything.

Before Christmas, I paid full price for some of the edits when I thought that they'd sell out. Then felt proper grinchy when they were reduced 🤣

Motnight · 21/02/2026 14:39

My CB parcel has arrived 😬

HolaLolla · 21/02/2026 14:43

@user593 I picked this up in Aldi which is great for flyaways. It looks like CW dupe, but could not find anything like that in their range 🤔

I’ll keep an eye out for it! I just bought the Briogeo Sleek Stick but worried it might be a bit greasy.

Morning, all.

Boots have 20% off various skincare/perfume with: BEAUTY20

There’s also 10% off a £60 spend across all/most products with: SAVE10

This last code works on the Stackers if you add £10 of other stuff, (not that I have tried or anything 🤣)

Against my better judgment I caved and bought the Stackers. I was getting ready this morning and decided it would be perfect for all my hair products that are all just slung in a similar sized cardboard box on the floor at the moment. I'm going to put most of the contents on Vinted though. With the points voucher that stacked with it I technically paid £45.50.

My blushes arrived whilst I was out. Unfortunately I'm already made up so will have to test out tomorrow.

I’m sorry to report that I have cracked too @OvaHere 🙈 I will try to fit it into my cupboard, (which desperately needs a clear out).

A more sensible person would have measured the space first…

I'll admit I only eye measured my space but I think it will work. 😂

I'm glad you got it in the end. You agonised for ages over the previous offer so you deserve it for holding off.

Re: The Stackers

I really like the Boots eye serum, (have just used one up and was going to repurchase).

I don’t mind the Boots no7 palette and blush at all and might try to squish them into my DIY calendar, together with the lip oil, mascara, eye pencil and lipstick.

The only thing I definitely won’t use is the Day Cream - which is a shame, as it’s the priciest item! I have one on the go atm and it is sooo sticky and gloopy. I’m using it up on my chest area, but I think it may be demoted further to legs!

I’ll report back on whether the Stackers box fits in the cupboard upon arrival…

IlovePond · 21/02/2026 15:57

Thanks @OvaHere - I feel a bit naughty, but I did miss out on CB yesterday 🙀

Plus: the EL anti-wrinkle serum I usually buy is getting too expensive for me to repurchase, (it’s now a ridiculous £72 RRP), and the Boots eye serum is a pretty good substitute imo.

Addictedtobeauty · 21/02/2026 15:57

How big is the stackers box? I can’t see any dimensions on Boots (but I’m probably just being thick). Not in Stock at my local stores either so I can’t physically eyeball it.

OvaHere · 21/02/2026 15:58

@IlovePond I'm considering keeping the make up remover, cleansing pad, make up brush and tubing mascara.

Has anyone tried this tubing mascara? I have plenty of mascara so if it's nothing special I'll sell that on too.

I succumbed today. I looked to see if there were any more Lumene advent calendars and there were. I put it in my basket and then thought "no I don't need it".

An hour or so later, they sent me a 15% off code. So I paid £42.50 for it.

I didn't need it but there will be things in it I can use and for that price it's worth it.

I’ll probably keep those too @OvaHere although I haven’t used them. I haven’t used the Boots tubing mascara so am willing to give it a go.

You can have a proper look at it on the JL website.

I do have the eye serum already I bought a while back on a 3 for 2. Not tried it yet though. I didn't love the day serum or the cleanser. They were fine but just fine iyswim.

Ah - cross post with @OvaHere

Don’t tempt me with the Lumene @igelkott2026 🤣

I'm justifying it as useful. The drawer will hold all my hairpins and hair ties which are also slung in a cardboard box.
