Well I was correct that I missed out on the CB bargains awaiting something better. I randomly decided to check if any new tickets had been released for a concert that I wanted to go to tonight, and then had! 😃

I’m still a bit disappointed as I fancy trying the Gucci blush in arctic rose - but I might get that with birthday money. What’s the chances of me getting it for less than £33.55?

Mine has dispatched, the whole order is coming in two parts - one with evri next day and one with relay next day. I'm a gold member so it's automatically upgraded delivery, and I live quite close to their warehouse (not that it should make a difference!)

Maybe that's what it is, no husband so they know I'm safe to deliver to 🤣

Oh that's better then. I quite like the Stackers box but I don't want any of the stuff in it which greatly puts me off.

Speaking of Stackers - did I imagine somebody buying a Vlando organiser after I had mentioned them?

I’m quite pleased with the one I got, although an extra drawer would have been nice.

My CB Aesop order shipped last night and was upgraded to next day delivery. I must have got lucky!

My remaining two orders also shipped, including the advent sohavd two with Royal Mail and two with Evri.

CB have responded to my request to know why my 2nd order (Erborian BB & a bronzer) was cancelled:

"Kindly note the warehouse tried to dispatch the items but they could not be found, so the shipment was cancelled."

Both products and shades are still available on the site though, so I'm not sure that I believe them.

All of my orders, including the AC, have been shipped. Strange, I got the 'your order has been upgraded to next day delivery' email too for all 3 of my orders even though I selected NDD for them all and even paid for it on 1 on them 🤣 the little cheekys!

I had been expecting to wake up to cancel emails, so now I need to quickly think of excuses for buying so much stuff, oops! 😇

I am excited reading about all your CB purchases even though I didn’t buy anything myself. The advents were a really good bargain and I definitely would have been tempted if I could have got hold of one. Probably for the best I couldn’t though as I have so much stuff in my stash. I did ask my DH how he would have felt if I had ordered another calendar and he said ‘I wouldn’t have been surprised’ 😆

I think that's the reaction I would normally get. It's when it arrives with my other orders when he's going to be like 'wtf Jo' 🤣 I'm skipping off to the hairdressers and then out for tea tonight with my friend so it's not like I'm having a cheap day too, oops!

It's about 25% cheaper so given it's stuff I use anyway, worth buying while there, plus the nice checkout staff chucked in a few samples as well. I think it might be cheaper still if you go to City Pharma (discount store) but I couldn't escape family long enough to make it there, so just went to the Monop'Beauty down the road.

I really thought they'd all be cancelled. Maybe they're fed up of having them all in stock now 🤣 Strange how they've not really reduced them before to shift them.

Mine are already out for delivery with evri 😲 I best get up and clear some space ready for their arrival 🤣

My other order has also been cancelled 😭 That's what I get for questioning them 😂

It's arrived!! 😍 I don't have time to look at it now though, it'll have to wait until later.

I'm done with CB now. The 2 cancelled orders contained 6 items, all showing as still in stock. It will save me some money though - and there's always Vinted!

That’s good to know. Thank you! I have a few of their items in my regular rotation and it hasn’t occurred to me they’d be cheaper there! I know they’re very expensive in the US.

If anyone is interested, this is what the husband said 'For fucks sake Jo' with a slight amused look on his face 'do you not think you've got enough beauty shit? Is it another advent calendar?'. I started laughing. He said 'it's march!' I corrected him and said it was February, he said he's practicing for next month 🤣 Then he said the most hurtful words that I've ever heard 'I think you need to come off mumsnet' 😱 I repeated the famous words of my niece when we said she had to come off the swings now 'never, ever, not in my life!'
