Thanks for all the lovely messages yesterday and earlier, I appreciated each and every one of them.

I have started doing similar to @OvaHerewirh mascaras and actually prefer the travel size ones as try make sure they don’t age in my makeup bag.

Low buy March didn’t start well and I picked up the CB edit earlier, will sell on a few travel sizes and keep some of the sample sizes to try. I am debating the Discoteque discovery set so I can try that way instead of via the travel sizes abd makes the ones I don’t like easier to sell, I seem to have 3 or 4 in my stash.

The Vinted fairy is showing no signs of running out of stock any time soon 😅 I’m actually debating ordering another set, despite only just picking up a parcel from them today!

I’m thinking about ordering another 1-2 sets from the Fairy as well. DP and I both use the Medik8 so I think we’d get through it.

There are lots of medik8 on Vinted now but all selling for more than the whole GWP from the fairy. One seller has it listed for £50! That's the same seller selling 3 of the radiance/k beauty edit, minus the cleansing balm, for £35-40 (each) when that whole edit is still available for £30 direct from CB!

It's really taught me to be wary of paying over the odds for things. I do hope that seller is someone from here though and they make a lovely profit (although I can't help but feel sorry for whoever ends up buying them - they've been favourited by 71 people!)

I did cave yesterday and bought another set. The price is just so good for the Medik8 alone and my daughter can have the other items.

They're very unlikely to sell at that price even if they were complete with the TIMY balm. Even if the Radiance set was sold out at CB you'd be lucky to get retail price on Vinted.

Vinted has been strange this weekend - very slow. Last weekend when you'd expect people to be broke (last week of the month) I sold loads. I've added a handful more items this weekend (payday) and all anyone is doing is favouriting stuff. Usually I'd get a decent number of offers on most stuff but I've not even got any silly offers.

The idea of buying another keeps popping into my head but I keep batting it away. I could just about justify 4 Medik8 in the stash but I doubt I could give away the Dr Levy or Easy Blur at the moment. Vinted and eBay must be awash with the stuff.

I’ve bought 2 and that’s enough for now. I give my daughter the things I don’t need/want. She’s buying her first house and my beauty gifts are distracting her from the horrendous amount of money she’s spending on it.

Thanks for all the responses! I’m another of those “save it for best” people who ends up never using things - @OvaHere‘s Gollum made me giggle but it’s so true. I’m also incapable of throwing out minis when they’ve been half used over a trip, but then worry they aren’t sufficient for the next one, and so my stash is made worse by a whole bunch of opened stuff.

I really need to up my game!

Also, I just checked on Vinted and my CB GWP came from MA Holt, but in the same THG packaging as the Fairy. Curiouser and curiouser 🥸

I finish off whatever minis I took away when I get back unless it was something meh, then it languishes for ages and eventually ends up being chucked.

I'm trying to get out of the mindset of thinking that minis are more useful than they are, outside of trying a new product you're not sure about.

They can be useful for travel but I really don't travel very often. If I do go away for 2 or more weeks I could buy some travel sizes at the point I needed them or buy some travel containers to decant stuff into.

Or even accept that shops exist in the vast majority of places I go to. Meaning if I don't have something or I run out I can in most instances buy something suitable. 😂

That said I will be taking some on holiday this year as I still have minis to use but I'm no longer jumping on an edit just because it has a travel size of a cleanser I like with the justification 'this will be good for travel'.

Anyone remember that big square box the 2024 ASOS calendar came in? At one point that was full practically to the top with mini products. 😳 It's maybe a third full now I've culled it. (influencer pic attached for reference)

Ebay is booming, I've sold 60 items in the last week alone. Reckon all the customers have gone to ebay which is good news for sellers like me as vinted is just a hassle these days.

I did too, and I have 'Call for a Good Time' which I also like. I've just bought Dark Imagination from vinted and the 'Lola at Coat Check'. All travel sizes though. I don't love the 2 I've got, but I like them 😊

I sold the 3 CB Gwps on ebay that I bought from the fairy. I've had to order myself some more 🤣 I don't think I'll list these next 2 as I think by the time they arrive, it's not going to be worth it.

Well the fairy has finally sold out! I messaged about purchasing another 1 so I have a good stock of the Medik8, and they said they sold the last couple today

@Fillybuster I don't really go on sizes for my next serum or moisturiser, or even cleanser. I tend to pick what I think my skin needs the most at that time. So last time I picked, i went for something that was going to be good for skin dryness and barrier repair due to the cold and central heating.

I've decided to use either a full size mascara or 2 minis a month. At the end of the month, I'm going to throw the remainder away, which reminds me that I didn't shop my stash this morning for a new one.

😱 I thought they'd be going for months. Have you tried the other seller? MA Holt or something?

And I’ve seen another one that’s been going for months with a CB beach bag.

I think it was the medik8 that swung it for this one to sell out so quickly compared to the others
