Morning - how do you use Rodial blush drops?

I have some in a very pale pink colour but it just disappears on my skin tone. I’ve tried applying it after blush or on its own but nothing much happens.

The same thing was happening with the Made By Mitchell Blursh I had which I threw away because there was no point keeping it.

The Rodial was one of those products I was keen to try, but either I am using it wrong or it’s just not for me. I thought I would ask on here before it joins the Made by Mitchell in the bin!

I can't even remember what I've bought. I know it started with a leather jacket and Morphe brushes and went downhill from there.

Just paid for plane tickets and have car insurance to pay this month so need to be reasonably good in March. I will probably get the WA edit but I need to try and make that my only make up purchase for a while.

I have that one and love it, but most others on here seem to hate it 🤷‍♀️ It's probably because I hadn't worn makeup for years so I lean towards a more no makeup makeup look. It's definitely aimed at that rather than proper visible blusher.

i put 2-3 drops onto my cheek (I must have have seen some sort of tutorial that showed a specific line from where your nose & outer corner of the eye meet, going upwards towards your hairline). Then I tap, tap, tap repeatedly with my finger. I add more or less depending on how obvious I want it to be. It leaves me looking glowy and flushed rather than obvious blusher.

The first few times I used it I got SO many compliments on my skin, even from my mother who is not the complimentary type 😆 I think because it makes you look like you have nice glowy healthy skin, rather than that you're actually wearing makeup.

I can imagine it wouldn't work with any powders or heavy makeup, much better on top of a light foundation/tinted serum/cc cream.

Oh so annoying, was going to order, as I had £10 account credit after ordering on the 40% code, my account credit isnt there anymore? Has anyone else had this issue?

Not going to buy the perfume edit even for £29. There's nothing I want in it. Vaguely curious about LATCC but I hated the last Discoteque perfume so probably not worth it.

The very thought of those Discoteque perfumes makes me shudder, so the edit is not for me, either!

Thanks @namechange0998776554799000 - I suspected it was more suitable for people with paler skin than me and/or who didn’t wear much foundation. It just disappears on my skin completely- no glow, nothing even when I don’t have any make up on at all!

I wore my glow drops last night when I went out with my sister. She actually commented on how my skin looked glowy.
I wasn’t sure about the drops at first as thought they made no difference but they do add a subtle bit of colour to your cheeks.

Yes @IlovePond I have very pale skin - usually the lightest couple of shades when choosing foundation

Also marking myself safe from the CB scent box. I'd only be buying it for the discotheque, so I'll just see if I can get it on vinted.

Next month, I'm going to keep a total in my list, the list itself didn't seem to deter me from spending, those £30s here, £40 there soon add up 🙈 I'm hoping no must buy bargains appear and I can actually do a low buy.

@psuedocream3 Have you converted your points to account credit? I have my points from the 40% off but I’ve not converted them yet.

Although I’m very tempted to do so to try one of the new WA lip balms!

I haven’t spent much on beauty at all in February. I think the CB gwp set might be my only purchase. I have been tempted but have stopped myself as I have so much stuff to get through.

I’m not tempted by the CB scent box either. I need to ban myself from buying more fragrances as I have enough to last me about 10 years!

Well my no buy March failed already! I placed a late night order on LF for £100, but told myself I could still count this as February/my birthday month as I’d not been to bed yet 😅 but now I have caved and bought the CB fragrance edit. I’d initially dismissed it, but I had another look and with the extra discount plus credit, decided it was worth it as I want some fragrances for birthday/Christmas boxes for family and friends, so may as well get them while I can get a good deal.

In other news, I’m going to start my Frankenstein fragrance AC this month. I’d done a double drawer for my son and I to each have one, which was intended for January but he was away the first few days, then I forgot all about it. It’s a mix of HN and SNK, plus others from edits.

Not to state the obvious but only twist up a little.
Not like the videos that twist up a lot. Im heavy handed and clumsy so tend to over twist. 🤣
Ive a ct lipstick that did this the first time i used it. Was gutted but still going. I refuse to throw it out. Balms are a bit trickier as softer but the fridge definitely helps x

I'm also going to start opening my Frankenstein fragrance calendar this month too, I'm going to countdown to Easter. I bought the SpaceNk and the HN, sold some of them from each, then merged the rest, bought a few extras, put the winter fragrances in the SNK and the more spring / summer ones in the HN. I'm definitely ready for some lighter, fresher fragrances. I've also got the elemis, tatcha and eve lom calendars under my bed. I'm not sure if to open them or leave them there. I don't currently need anything and would just struggle to find a new home for them.
