So here's the new one and we're now in double digits.

As always everyone is welcome to join even if you've just been lurking, but like those kids on the back of the school bus your Mum warned you about, we are a bad influence.... 😈

After my January fail, I've been saint like through February. I did order the boots x stackers, but after reading a post on here about it being flimsy and impossible to clean, I decided not to collect the order!
I think the only beauty item I ordered was a clinique moisturiser in the m&s sale mentioned this week

@Anyonecanfallinlove - there’s no way I would pay full price for one of those Stackers boxes but as I ended up paying £45 for it with a code plus the no7 products, I thought that was fine. Mine is in my cupboard, full of unopened products so shouldn’t need cleaning. I agree that the claim of it being wipe-able is completely misleading. (A dry cloth would be fine, but ‘wipe’ = ‘damp cloth’ to me!)

With my Vlando organiser, which is on display and with products that are in use, I have put my serums onto a thick decorative cotton coaster in case of leakage and lined one of the drawers with a cotton napkin.

I had been wondering what to do with said objects, so that was a ‘win win’!

The toolbox has nothing in it to leak and is also in my cupboard, so should be fine.

@namechange0998776554799000 and @pinkchampagne1 - thanks for the info. I am having a no-make up day today and have given the drops a go. I can’t really see anything but might try again tomorrow. I had such high hopes!

My skin tone is not pale - hard to describe it really - and it just disappears completely!

Oh I forgot about a tiny Decree serum. Saw it listed for £4 and thought ‘wow, bargain’ and bought it, then realised it was a tiny 7ml bottle! Guess it was still a bargain, but won’t last long.

I have sold a perfume and a vitamin c serum on Vinted so now desperately looking for something to spend the money I have made on. I should just save the money but that’s no fun!

I bought lots of bits in the January sales so trying to be strong and remind myself I don’t need any more skincare, fragrance or clothing. It’s boring though! 😂

Thanks for this, I've been waiting for this to launch. There are quite a few fragrances in there I want to try. I picked up the five samples for £5 deal as well so at least I'll smell nice in March 😂

@JoRaRaRa - there are loads of the Discoteque perfumes going for peanuts on eBay.

Bother - I have looked at that edit properly and it looks quite nice.

However, I don’t know what any of them smell like and adult DS1 has a peanut/nut allergy, so I probably shouldn’t be spraying myself all over with pistachio 🙈

@MrsBnow12I am so sorry to hear about your mother, what an awful time for you. If the beauty world gives you some momentary escape through here and exploring new products, it is good you have identified this and have the option to dip in and out. I hope your heart will slowly heal a little bit in time and I am sorry you are going through such a bad time.

@Doglover73 I think I did over twist it as well. I was talking to my friend and wasn’t paying proper attention, it is only a Mini so isn’t as thick/strong, so I think a combination of that and the heat just made it give way.

@JoRaRaRa I have my JL and Lumene BACs to get through as well. I planned to start JL this month but as I did both Harrods & SNK in February I think it’s too soon to open another.
In regard to fragrances, I still need to use some of my winter ones. I made the mistake of being drawn to some of the summery ones the past few weeks, so need to get back on track and focus on the winter ones. The other day I put on Fugazzi Vanilla Haze then remembered I wanted to wear Graff, so layered it on top 😅
I have also bought Thameen rivière from Vinted, but I feel like that is probably more suited to my son. He’s doing quite well out of these fragrance purchases 😅

Also, just a plug for the Ole Hendrickson Vitamin C cleanser dupe from Aldi. I’ve been using it the past few days and it’s really nice. It smells so fresh and leaves my skin feeling lovely and smooth - not drying at all. I’m actually liking it more than Kate Somerville goats milk cleanser (shame I didn’t know about this before I restocked on 3 more KS!)

Thanks for all the heads up on the CB frag edit. Very happy with that for £34 🙂I was pretty good in February so I feel I deserve a small splurge.

Has anyone tried using their Feb birthday code at SpaceNK today? I tried it just after midnight and it didn’t appear to add the gift then so maybe the carry over is just in the shops (or the staff member was talking a load of rubbish).

I got sent a voucher on my actual birthday luckily I was near a store so just went to collect it.

Its nothing that amazing. Lip liner plus a mini serum and body cream.

Hmm. Just tried my spacenk birthday code and it said “code not applied” 🙄

BUT my email says the code is valid until 14 March (while stocks last).

So I will try again tomorrow - maybe their system hasn’t updated to switch from the Feb gift to the March gift yet or something

@RockaLock and @Talisin - I was having issues with my birthday code/bags being out of stock. I went into my local SNK and they said to just keep coming back in until they had some in-store and I could have one even though it was outside my birthday month.

They probably weren’t expecting me to go in to ask quite so often afterwards 🙈 but I did eventually get one. So far I have always found SNK shop staff very nice and helpful.

I’m using up the M&G cleanser I got in my last birthday freebie atm.

On a sort of related note: I got recognised in a SNK recently by a member of staff I used to teach, which was lovely!

FIRST15 is no longer working on the fragrance edit at CB. I still suspect someone from CB is on this thread - every time a code gets mentioned on here with an edit it seems to get pulled within minutes!

As you’ve probably guessed I was about to crack and buy the edit, but I am not doing it now when people earlier were getting it for £34!

‘No-buy’ March didn’t last long 🙈

However:

I will squish a bit into my a/c
Perfume doesn’t go off
I will sell some of it for tiny amounts of money on eBay
It cost £19 with the code and my CB credit and I paid the remainder with my TCB earnings
TCB are paying out 1.7% c/b for CB with any voucher use, (allegedly 😹), so I tried that too

Does this mean ‘no spend’ March is technically still intact? 😹😹

I agree @Sminty2 it is nice ❤️ I got a surprise hug in the street once from someone I had taught years earlier during my training - I was shocked she even remembered me!
