What advantage does the shop app have over ordering on their website?

@isthismylifenow I think it went on for about three weeks last year. (I know there was enough time for me to make several orders 🙈)

However, Roka moving the LD to January may mean the offer is shorter this year 🤷‍♀️

My shop hasn't updated so I don't know what I've got yet but I'm after a duffel and doing mind black so I'd be open to a deal presuming I get something you'd like? I can PM when it's delivered

I have a Portobello tote bag in light denim that I will happily swap for a rucksack if anyone gets one they don't like (I can't do shoulder bags).

On the website it states "Every Lucky Dip is lovingly handpicked by the ROKA London family. Because each order is chosen with care rather than pulled from a shelf, there may be a small delay in dispatch, but we promise it’s worth the wait." But within minutes of placing my order it showed I was getting the Canfield in military tonal....

From last year’s LD I have:

A small Bantry which I was using as a day pack on walks, However, the top zip means it lets in water so it’s not suitable for wet weather. (Found this out to my cost in rainy Cornwall last year 😿)

A medium Canfield which I really love and use for weekends away.

A lilac Trafalgar, which I loathed on sight, but am now obsessed with - best work bag ever!

A Chelsea, which I was using to take to the gym. I need to dig it out and start using it again.

I would quite like a small Canfield to replace the Bantry, and one of the larger crossbody bags would be useful for travelling. However, given the random nature of LD and that I have many ROKA bags already, I should probably just buy one that I actually ‘need’ rather than doing LD. I do enjoy it though, so will probably crack at some point!

I don't use Shop to buy, but if you have it installed it updates your orders and it appears to tell you what's actually in these orders.

If it's a Canfield do you fancy a swap for Orchid?

I have a small Canfield which I got on my 2nd Lucky dip last year. I sold on the small Bantry from the first dip. I was underwhelmed at first as I wanted a larger one but it's actually a perfect size for holidays and day trips so I ended up loving it. The shiny taupe colour grew on me too so I've been happy with it in the end.

I also have a black sling and square cross body I bought on offer last year to use on a city break (can't remember the names of those). The black sling is so useful - it doesn't look much but it holds a lot and is secure/low key. The square cross body is fine but I've probably used that least.

I bought a bargain med Finchley in the post xmas sale when a voucher code took a further £7 off the sale price.

So I too do not need any more bags. Not given into the fomo yet. I think it's helping that I can see what people are getting and there's not much I would want. Although I didn't think I wanted the small Canfield last year and that grew on me.

I went for a treasure and shop app says i’m getting a black city duffel. Pretty happy with that, I don’t have a duffle and it might be handy for odd nights away where I can pack light

Getting a medium taupe Canfield which I am very happy with. I’ve got a rose Canfield which is a great size, I just don’t like the colour do that will be going on vinted.

The City duffel is great. Really well made. Mine is a gym/weekend bag.

I don’t have the Shop app; got told in the order email what I’m receiving! Really wanted a backpack but trying not to twitch anymore 🤣🤣

Mine is exactly the same - hoping my treasure is better ! I am also not keen on the green !

One thing about ROKA bags that I do find annoying is that you can’t lock them. I think this is a bit of a design fault with regards to the rucksacks and duffels/carryalls.

I am reminding myself of this to stop myself pressing pay on my basket!

Has anyone actually got a Roka hat? I have always quite fancied one of the bucket hats, but wouldn’t want the one with a tie string.

Ooooh I twitched. I really wasn't going to order, but here we are. I went for a small, med and a lg, and I seem to be getting:
Stratford crossbody small in chilli oil (which I am chuffed with, brilliant colour, and I've been wanting a new crossbody for out and about with the kids)
City Duffel bag medium in black, which will be ideal for work overnights
Canfield roll top medium in Taupe which I may swap, might keep, not sure yet.

I have a Bantry in that colour. It is a light blue but a very vivid one, a little turquoisey, and I'd say a deeper shade than how it appears on-screen.

I succumbed and it seems I'm getting a large portobello in khaki and medium cranfield in graphite. I got 2 lucky dips last year and both were grey so I'm not thrilled, can't ever seem to get any colour, will likely swap both.

Do most people seem to be getting the stuff that’s recently been reduced and in the sale ?
