I got mine today. Camden backpack in midnight. It's ideal for me for work so very pleased!

I am wondering how 'water resistant' it is though - does anybody know? Would it withstand a heavy shower?

@Angelic999 - ROKA bags are waterproof, except along the zip area. That’s why Bantry bags are useless in the rain as the zip is along the top.😿

Imo, those with covered zips due to roll tops like the Canfield are fine.

I got my Camden backpack today. All black and tbh, a bit boring. Pity as I really wanted a backpack. Like pp said, it's the chance you take.
Trying to decide if I return it or keep it and give it to my brother for his birthday.

The Willesden which I appear to have from my order yesterday is out for delivery, it’ll be returned next week. Really not keen on the fabric colour.

I have found the nylons not great in heavy showers. I would say showerproof not waterproof. The canvas fabric manages slightly better but I wouldn’t want to be carrying electronics/laptop etc in a Roka bag in a downpour.

Is anyone returning for an exchange or gift card rather than a refund?

I object to paying for returns but wouldn’t mind exchanging for another LD or getting a gift card.

My medium orchid Canfield arrived earlier, and the colour is better in real life than it looked online.

@MinstrelGirl - yes, showerproof is a better way of putting it, (except for the zip areas, through which, if exposed, rain just pours through).

Yep @IlovePond, @welshweasel it looked a bit too pinky online, but it’s more purply-pink in real life. And it’s a good size. The Bantry I got last time is just a bit too small for my laptop, but this seems a bit bigger, so I’m pleased.

I know the price of the biggest LD has gone up, but it’s interesting that ROKA have moved the small rucksacks, the City duffel and the Trafalgar into the £19.95 slot. I am curious about how many people will actually be sent these.

I picked the Treasure and have received a black/pink Carnaby XL. I really like it and will definitely get a lot of use from it.

My Treasure has just arrived, it’s a
large Willesden and is definitely going back, as is the second order I placed as I was disappointed with the first one. The second is a Chelsea crossbody (small) in Sage.

I keep checking to make sure my order hasn't changed. It says I'll be getting a city duffel in black and a Canfield in taupe. Nice and neutral, but fear I may lose the Canfield to my military-obsessed 9yo DS.

My order has just arrived and I received exactly what I was expecting from the app,

• large portobello tote in khaki

I like the Canfield, but I received two grey lucky dips last year so I am open to a swap if anyone is interested?
The portobello is ok, it's a bit too big for me and I'm not keen on the colour, again open to a swap for that too.

I received a portabello tote in khaki. It’s huge, and will kill my shoulder, but will make a fab swimming bag for the family and a bargain at £20 (medium).

I’ve just received a City duffel in Airforce blue. Very pleased as have plenty of ROKA ‘handbag’ types but great as a sports or overnight bag. Would have liked a funkier colour though.

They aren’t waterproof. The bottom of the bag is, so you can put it on the floor, but the rest isn’t. They do cope fairly well in the rain and it take a while for water to get in, but it does.
I have a Roka as my workbench bag and cycle in all weathers. I can’t remember the type but it’s got the zip on the front. My stuff stays mostly dry but in particularly heavy showers things can get a bit damp.

They've said they won't exchange for another dip on the website.

I’ve got a Kennington B in Military as my medium LD. It’s more of a real khaki than it looks in the photo. It’s ok and will get used. But I’d be up for a swap for a different colour maybe if anyone prefers this?

I’ve found they’re pretty good in showery weather - I’ve only once had water get in and that day the rain was torrential.
