It's very weird that those links get hidden. The new palette is called Wanderscape if anyone wants to google it. It's £18

I really rate the BB eyeshadows. I’ve got the big Neutral one plus the Valentines limited edition from last year and the two nine pan shimmer ones. They are really good, particularly for the price. Often on offer too.

I've fallen foul of that a few times. My theory is it gets caught in a filter that stops dodgy sites that historically have ended in bay. e.g. p-i-r-a-t-e-b-a-y

I'm tempted to get this one, I like the sparkles in it ✨ I might see how much credit I have with them. Part of me feels that I should wait though and stop going for purples. I now have the dior plum parade, clé de peau dreams express in tea safari that has a glittery lilac in, chantecaille flamingo dusk with the plum in and hopefully soon, the vb orchid. I think I need some other colours.

I watched a review of the VB Orchid at lunch and was a bit underwhelmed seeing the application vs in the pan. Hoping I do like it. I need to be less impulsive.

To add to my February make up low buy fail shame, and this might be of particular interest to you @JoRaRaRa I bought the new Patrick Ta blush shade Soft Launch.

I really love this one. I struggle a bit with how pigmented the others are to the extent I ended up reselling the one from the CB advent unopened. This new shade doesn't need such a light touch and is beautiful so I think I will properly enjoy this one. For some reason I've developed a hankering for peachy/coral shades which I've not favoured previously - I think I just want spring to arrive. 😁

I am down a BB rabbit hole now and need to stop myself from getting carried away. So many bargains! I've never bought from them before but I'm reassured to hear the quality is ok

I bought the Patrick ta 'soft launch' and the shade 'thank me later' the day before they were officially launched on cb (I kept checking and they went on at about 11pm so I was able to get them NDD) both are so gorgeous 😍

I bought ysl in babydoll pink and unfortunately that's too light for me 😩 but thank me later seems to suit me quite well. I am tempted to get ysl in the fushia fizz though and see if that suits me better.

I must have missed you'd already bought them.

That's a shame about the YSL. As it's lightly used try selling it on via the Skincare Freaks BST facebook group.

Edit to add - I think my fave YSL is Nude Lavalleire

Edited

It was one of my acceptable purchases for Jan, as I'd seen them in December and had decided I was having them 🤣🤣 (that's the good thing about setting your own rules!)

I have nude lavalleire, it's very nice and one I tend to go for when I haven't got time for blush mishaps 🤣

I think I may keep it as a eyeshadow, or just to look pretty in my collection. I can't bear the thought of selling it at a loss already 🙈😩

That's fair enough. I have some things I keep thinking I should pass on so they don't go to waste, then I'm like well maybe I'll use it. I can tell what I really like though by what I reach for most. I need to be more firm with myself.

Me too, I had a feeling that the ysl would be too light for me. I should've really waited to test it out but I was so determined to use my £5 birthday voucher from LF 🙈🤣

I can mark myself safe from eyeshadow palettes at the moment, I have lots of lovely Urban Decay which I went mad on years ago and have carefully looked after!

Sorely tempted by more K-beauty though.

Oh and Trinny has 10-20% off this weekend and I need to stock up on neck cream.

namechange0998776554799000 · 06/02/2026 18:58

Oh thank you for the heads up on Trinny @TragicMuse. I tried a small Elevator and loved it but I think it gave me spots on my jawline. So, I bought sample sizes of This Works, Prai and Elemis neck creams to try out from Vinted. I don't like any of them as much as Elevator so I think I will probably buy a FS and just be really careful to apply only on my neck.

You’re welcome! I love it and have 2 in my basket!

Thank you for the Treat Tincture advice.
I’m loving the eye shadow palettes (don’t need any more but I’m very tempted given the price)
Also I need some new blush so off to research those…🏃‍♀️‍➡️ (the only time I ever run 😅)
