Hotel wedding. DP's colleague.

I was thinking big silver jewellery.

Hell no

A May wedding is Spring - colour is required

I dont have a single clue as to where to point you , but seriously not grey

Its Easter time, pastel or brights , be it wild flowers or bright poppies - get the colour pop in

Grizelina · 16/01/2026 21:24

The green jumpsuit is lovely. Personally I would try to find a jacket to go over it in spring/summer colours that pick up the green. Much classier than the grey which quite frankly is IMHO, awful and looks like dishrag!

hollytheheroic · 16/01/2026 22:08

That's will show every lump and bump

hollytheheroic · 16/01/2026 22:09

Oh just seen the pic, you don't have any lumps and bumps! But also prefer the green. Nice encaustic tiles too.

Mamabear487 · 16/01/2026 22:12

Nooooo

RecordBreakers · 16/01/2026 23:59

Whereas I agree the dark green jumpsuit looks lovely on you, for me it says "Christmas party", or party during the Winter months at least.

It really doesn't say 'Summer wedding' at all.

Apart from the look, I'd have thought you could well be too hot in it all day, in May.

I think you should wait until the Summer stuff is in the shops, then look again.

I have this one and it’s beautiful. It’s from Phase 8.

Is this OK for a May wedding?
ZoomerBoomer · 17/01/2026 09:18

Unforgiving …and if you are 6ft and size 8, it’s just so boring.
it looks like school uniform from George at Asda

You could def dress that jumpsuit up for a wedding. A lovely cream bolero, some dazzling jewellery and maybe a matching sparkles and metal belt.

Alternatively, Wallis has lovely jumpsuits if thats what you're looking for.

Cream bolero, nooooo, not at a wedding …and not with drab grey

LlynTegid · 17/01/2026 09:21

Looks good, but I would not be looking at ASOS myself. If you do, hope it can be worn on other occasions- I don't like single or low use clothing.

TokenGinger · 17/01/2026 09:34

I think you could dress up your dark green one. Gold sandal, chunky gold bracelets, some standout earrings, and maybe a light green clutch bag to brighten it.

There’s a woman I follow on Facebook who shows how to accessorise plain outfits to make them stand out - ToniFifi.

BitOutOfPractice · 17/01/2026 10:02

Fellow jumpsuit enthusiast here.

I think the green one is perfect!

Yes, but the op is on a budget.

PrincessofWells · 17/01/2026 13:43

NorWouldTilly · 16/01/2026 01:21

Miserable colour - and the material’s so thin. Even the model has vpl. It’s almost guaranteed to look a mess in the photos.

I agree. One of the most useful things I discovered for wedding outfits is trying on the outfit in the shop then getting my partner to photograph me. It's surprising how bad some stuff looks. Neat and simple dresses in good quality fabric tend to photograph well.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 17/01/2026 14:06

I’d wear your your existing green jumpsuit with a fun bag and maybe a big floral hairclip,

Foggytree · 17/01/2026 14:10

Its a sort of school uniform grey, or as one of my classmates said a shitty grey. Sorry.

patooties · 17/01/2026 14:14

I think it’s the colour that makes it a bit ‘work wear’

Onemorechristmas · 17/01/2026 14:15

IceIceBabyBump · 16/01/2026 12:45

That's kind @Ebok1990 Thank you.

I'm just worried that the green is a bit too winter-y. I'm biased because I've only ever worn this outfit for winter parties 😅

It’s lovely. And fine for any time of year. No need to buy something new just for the sake of it

Makingmusicinmy50s · 17/01/2026 23:47

I tried on a jumpsuit for a winter wedding I've just attended. I had high hopes (it looked great on the website and I'd lost a bit of weight so felt a bit svelte). I looked like a fat matador. Very disappointing.😫

You on the other hand, look amazing in the green jumpsuit. Like others have said, some bold gold jewellery, it will look great! Green isn't just for winter!

Pussygaloregalapagos · 18/01/2026 00:13

Have they never heard the old wives tale!

Bowies · 18/01/2026 03:47

I do think the floral would look great on you and be perfect for the wedding of your later options (don’t like the grey).

The dark green (one you own) is lovely.

Pepsi4Eva · 18/01/2026 06:12

You have a lovely figure.

The grey jumpsuit is drab, I agree. You could wear anything and look great. The green one looks terrific. I'd splash out on a brighter colour tbh for a May wedding.

Wear green wear black?

One of my mother's favourites.

Anyway, I like the green one (and I really like your tiles, OP!).
