Hotel wedding. DP's colleague.

I was thinking big silver jewellery.

Green jumpsuit is perfect...oh and you have a banging bod 🔥

IceIceBabyBump · 16/01/2026 12:45

That's kind @Ebok1990 Thank you.

I'm just worried that the green is a bit too winter-y. I'm biased because I've only ever worn this outfit for winter parties 😅

You look great in the green jumpsuit. You just need to lighten it up with accessories

Anonymous07200408 · 16/01/2026 12:56

I was going to say it even looks unflattering on the model but tbh having seen your pic you could pull anything off!

IceIceBabyBump · 16/01/2026 13:00

I really like the polka dot on out of them, thank you.

But I had a polka dot jumpsuit a few years back and DP said I looked nice but a bit like Kate Middleton opening a garden centre in Surrey 😐I haven't looked at polka dot the same way since

Green one looks great and very easy to accessorise to make more spring like. Only caveat would be if the fabric is quite heavy and we get one of those blistering early summers.
Is it just jumpsuits you are interested in? There are some bargains [if you look at the original cost] in Me+Em right now from last summers sale stock in small sizes.

Comefromaway · 16/01/2026 13:05

To be fair, I can see Kate Middleton wearing polka dot (doesn't stop me though!)

MayaPinion · 16/01/2026 13:13

The green is fabulous. Silver or gold would look amazing with it.

bridgetreilly · 16/01/2026 14:08

The wedding’s not until May, so I would wait a couple of months when the shops will have more spring-appropriate things.

carpetfluffs · 16/01/2026 14:17

The green looks lovely on you, it’s a much more flattering shape because of the shorter neckline which draws the eye there.

Sassylovesbooks · 16/01/2026 14:50

I love the jumpsuit, but as others have said, it's not an outfit to wear to a wedding. It's grey. It's something I'd wear to the office, not a wedding.

ERthree · 16/01/2026 14:53

That is one of the most miserable outfits for a wedding i have seen.

gorgeous !

LadyGAgain · 16/01/2026 15:22

The green one is SO much nicer and perfectly fine for a summer wedding.

diddl · 16/01/2026 15:24

Green jumpsuit looks fab!

I think that the one shoulder/bare arms makes it non Wintery enough.

Love the tiles!

HeadDeskHeadDesk · 16/01/2026 16:30

It's really nice, but maybe a bit casual and a bit dull for a wedding. I agree you could dress it up with nice statement jewellery and colourful accessories and it's definitely something you'd get plenty of wear out of afterwards. But can't you find anything a bit more exciting and fitting for the occasion?

It reminds me of the time I went to a quite grand wedding and the groom's sister was wearing a skirt, blouse and cardigan of the type most people would wear to work, if there were say, a teacher. She looked perfectly fine and presentable, just underwhelming. Like she didn't want to make a particular effort or buy anything especially for the event. It was her brother. Confused

HeadDeskHeadDesk · 16/01/2026 16:38

Just seen the photo of you in the green one. That's much more the ticket. Lovely.

Now I know that MN is quite anti black at a wedding, I def am not and see lots of women in black... anyway I digress. I think this is lovely.

I have that MD jumpsuit...its lovely on but think it was more evening function than wedding.

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/01/2026 18:15

Agree with everyone else, your jumpsuit is so much nicer. You’ve got a great figure!

BunnyLake · 16/01/2026 20:06

Bit drab for a wedding. If you want to blend into the background though this will probably do it.

IceIceBabyBump · 16/01/2026 12:44

@wishingonastar101 I wear a lot of jumpsuits. I'm an absolute professional at dealing with needing the loo in one 😂

I love a jumpsuit too. I once had a gorgeous wide legged silk jumpsuit in a lovely mid blue shade. I actually wore that to my friend’s Indian wedding 😊 you look fab in the green one.
