What can I wear under

A bright green dress that's a smidgen too small but was reduced to £30 in the Next sale from £150.00 due to a tiny fault.

I'm 38e and size 18 ( the dress is a 16 ).
I can ( with shapewear.) just about fasten it, but am concerned of it gaping slightly when I'm sat down. And the shapewear is nude colour.

I'd really like to wear it this weekend so I have 2 days ( well 1 really as it's NYD tomorrow).

Any tips appreciated

Thanks

Wear a camisole underneath and leave the top buttons open,

That was my first thought too. It's such a vibrant colour you could pick a nice bright contrasting colour and have fun with accessories.
Ignore people saying it's a summer dress.....winter is bloody miserable, we can use all the colour we can get!😁

I always think green is a Christmas colour. I’d wear it with a vest underneath leave the top couple of buttons open. Tights, boots, I’m a cold tattie so would be wearing also be wearing a cardigan and a scarf.

I always think green is a Christmas colour. Dark green or elf green. The dress is not christmassy.

If you think looking like that is stylish then telling me I have no style is a compliment.

You're very rude.

According to you, but then actually nobody made you the arbiter of what is good style. Fortunately, because we would all look very drab if you were!

Since I had DD (4), I'm in a constant state of sweat so every day is me dressed for warmer weather.

Love the dress OP 😊

This made me laugh....I'm peri menopausal so a summer wardrobe is good what ever the weather 🥵

I think I get more wear out of some of my summer dresses in the winter TBH.
Im a big fan of the tights, chonky boots and cosy cardie look with a floaty dress. As long as you are layering properly there is no restrictions, surely?
