Help me complete my outfit: low key wedding, 50 something bride

Ok so following my previous thread, I have now got a lovely wool cream A line midi skirt. I now need a satiny/silky top and will wear this plus a wool coat and a nice cashmere wrap for our registry office wedding in the new year. It's all low key. Ideas for the top would be great. I am quite small and want something very slim fitting.

Where is your skirt from? Does the same brand not have a suitable silk blouse?

And what’s your budget?

(Coat and wrap seems quite a lot to manage during a wedding ceremony. Won’t you be holding onto / fiddling about with all this paraphernalia when you need your hands free for exchanging rings and signing registers and hugging people?)

Could you post a picture of the skirt? And I assume the coat/wrap will be cream too?

I'm assuming you want something with sleeves, it being in NY. But if sleeveless is an option a silk camisole could be lovely?

A top that doubles up as a light jacket could be worn over the camisole - this is linen & silk? So with the silk camisole but a wool skirt the contrasting textures but all in the same colour could work?

Another jacket/top a little like the Wyse one - I happen to like unusual/detailed sleeves, & I think this is quite a neat not overpowering sleeve (as you said you don't want anything too oversized) - but it might not be your thing!

Another suggestion - instead of cream what about powder pink for your top? I think as you'd be wearing this with a wool coat & skirt, it would downplay the sparkles beautifully. I love the buttons on the sleeve cuffs.
