What perfumes would you wish they’d make?

I love the Molton Brown Rose & Rhubarb range, but wish the perfume would smell the same as the body lotion. I’ve tried the perfume but it’s nothing like the shower gel or body lotion.

The same with L’Occtaine Almond range, love the gels and lotions but there’s no proper perfume that smells the same and th lotions just don’t last smell wise/

I love the Victoria Secrets Coconut Passion body mist but it just doesn’t last.

I had the rose one from that range, it was divine, made me want to try the others, I am picking up an order from M and S next week so might slope upstairs to beauty dept as I have a voucher to spend

Bodyshop do a pink grapefruit shower gel that smells gorgeous. I’d love a perfume or room diffuser with the same scent.

I can still smell it now and have never found any other scent like it.

I think the price points for perfume are crazy now.

@OnceInI also love the rhubarb & rose range. I always wear the eau de toilette as it smells lovely on me but the actual parfum one is awful on me.

Have you tried both or just one of them? Luckily for me the eau de toilette is actually cheaper than the parfum which is a win for once!

My DIL worked their for a bit & told me that the eau de toilette & the parfum have slightly different ingredients which explains why I like on & hate the other.

Ooh yes, it would be so worth giving it a try. I’d be I would be interested in how you get on.

I love this but my DH claims it smells like "stale piss"

Pink grapefruit always smells a bit like sweat to me.

That French company Solinotes does a freesia perfume

I did a market research survey back in 1995 and got a small unlabelled perfume sampler to keep. But they wouldn’t tell me who made it. I have never found it again and it’s the nicest perfume I’ve ever smelt!

I love the Chevrefeuille. It's my "Spring is coming" scent.

I used to love the Rose oil that the Body Shop did. I've never found anything as purely rose as that scent.

I still miss Le Feu D’issey, and would murder for a similar coriander, milk and orange scent.

The limited edition sliced vanilla l’occitane hand cream. Why do they never make the good smells into a perfume?!

The Handmade in Harpenden Granny’s Garden candle which was black plum and rhubarb would be an amazing perfume. That one must be some
sort of base available to candle makers as I’ve seen it elsewhere as candles but I’d like it as an EDP.

There’s a jewellers near where my aunt lives that when you walk in the door there’s a gorgeous scent released.
I’d love that in a perfume.

Me too! I like L’Eclat by Rituals now. It’s not an old book smell but rather pencil shavings ambery smell. See what you think. You can get little bottle for eighteen pounds or so too.

Salt works so some interesting fragrances and they are pretty strong.
