What do we think of these boots to dress up jeans and a jumper in a comfy kind of way? Too much? Or ok? www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/f-mode-stack-leather-chelsea-boots-p-E2J#090

Bang on trend giving Claudia vibes.

If you have a Bluelight card, check for a discount. They’re usually very good.

I like them, they're interesting. I've been a punk in my youth and loved the DM look. The only thing is I couldn't walk on them as my feet roll a little when walking and I'd soon fall over. I say, go for it, if you can walk, be comfy and you like em, try them on.

TidyCyan · 09/11/2025 20:28

Trouble is Claudia definitely wouldn't wear her long Docs with barrel legs - she always wears them with tights or those expensive equestrian jodphur-type leggings. I also have chunky Docs with I wear with a slim bottom and a bigger top. I think those plus voluminous jeans plus a chunky jumper is too much leather/fabric/wool.

They sell these on QVC, there's a live video with a model wearing them so you can get a better idea; /www.qvcuk.com/fitflop-f-mode-stack-chelsea-boot.product.420505.html?sc=srch

Personally I like them, maybe only if you have smaller feet though. FYI if you buy from QVC, under their return policy you can actually wear them out and about and still send back.

londongirl12 · 09/11/2025 20:48

I like the style but not with the huge platform.

OhDearMuriel · 09/11/2025 21:09

I LOVE them.
And you won’t ever get more comfortable footwear. Fitflop are the best I’ve ever found.

Rexinasaurus · 09/11/2025 23:35

We think they’re what our grandmother would have called ‘clodhoppers’!!

SorryNotSorry00 · 10/11/2025 06:57

We think they’re ugly as sin.

magicstar1 · 10/11/2025 14:51

Do you like them? If you do, then who cares what anyone else thinks? Wear them and be comfy, and taller lol.
I have New Rocks with red devils on the front, burgundy Docs, blue Solovairs, snakeskin cowboy boots and many more. I don't give a toss if other people don't like them. If I like them, I buy them.

cazcaz2 · 16/11/2025 20:55

They are BOOTS??🤔

Placestogo · 16/11/2025 22:04

If you are young or if you are dressing up like a young person then why not. But theyd need careful styling

Well there's platforms, and then there's those that look like the big, clunky, surgical boots people wore who had one leg shorter than the other! You can guess the rest! Sorry, for me they're too much, but hey, what do I know, and if you love them then enjoy! Don't be dissuaded from what you like.

Bit of a nasty thing to say.

As you said: what do you know?

Telling the OP the boots look like big, clunky, surgical boots people wore who had one leg shorter than the other! isn't going to help her "enjoy!" them.
Maybe you'd be surprised to know that some people still have differing leg lengths and still need shoes/boots that help their problems. My cousin is one.
No, she wouldn't wish anyone to have a similar problem but she would be crushed to know that people like you look and judge her boots.

Were your exclamation marks meant to make those sentences seem funny?
