Leave in conditioner

My hair is so dry and knotty at the moment. I think possibly due to being peri menopausal. I've also noticed quite a lot of breakage along my hairline as I usually wear my hair up daily. I've stopped doing that now but think a leave in conditioner might help too?
Does anyone have any recommendations. My hair despite being dry does get greasy quite quickly and I hate the feeling of products in my hair. Previous things I've used are - ColorWow Dream Coat ( I liked how it made my hair look but hated the feeling) Umberto Giannini Blonde Spray Leave in conditioner (hated the feeling of my hair) and Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (didn't notice any difference ) I also used to use a kids detangling spray which I actually really liked but the smell was awful!

watching with interest as my hair is very frizzy/menopausal and it's so annoying. Does anyone have experience with Kerastase, that is supposed to be good?

Kerastase used to be great, I don’t really rate it anymore, might be a change in formula or it might be my hair changing! The best Kerastase one is K Nutritive (the one with the orange lid!). PL Elastisizer is fantastic but I don’t like PK shampoos!

I really rate Redken at the minute!

I think it's dry from multiple reasons, it's blonde and pretty long and I have a lot of fine hair so gets tangled very easily. I used to wash my hair daily but since working from home I only really wash it maybe 3 times a week and I swear it feels worse for it. I've been using loreal nutri gloss mirror shine shampoo and conditioner the last 2 washes and it does definitely feel nicer. I also brought the shampoo up slightly higher (usually just the very ends) and that's definitely helped. I feel I'm going to be skint after I try all these lovely sound suggestions!!

It sounds as though we have very similar hair types (I also have fine, long/mid length, blonde (highlighted) hair.

My hairdresser recommended Matrix Miracle Creator leave in treatment a couple of years ago and I've not looked back since. It's not exactly a leave in conditioner, more of a multi-tasking treatment including heat protection... I use it as well as conditioner (not instead of). It's very lightweight and doesn't leave residue (a plus with fine hair). It instantly gets rid of the knots and tangles so that you can style without feeling as though you're constantly breaking your hair.

Edit to add, it is on the expensive side, however a bottle lasts me 7/8 months (wash hair every other day), so I consider it good value!

Garnier Hair Food - the banana and coconut ones are magical. I have very curly hair and this product leaves soft, shiny hair with no residue or itchy scalp. Im also peri and rate it highly.

Agree with this!
