True, and it's not like you see loads of Dutch women wearing massive earrings and Pringle hats a la Max, just some thoughts

Sophie has moved onto Guatemala but has not moved on from patterned dresses. (I am counting guipure lace as a pattern so she has not broken her patterned dress streak)

I haven’t found a full length photo of the white dress which is a shame as I would also like to see the full burgundy outfit of the British Ambassador to Guatemala in the photo with Sophie. Her outfit reminds me of what CPV wore a few days ago but hers had a v neck and I think the Ambassador’s looks slightly more formal and smarter. Love her earrings too.

I also love Sophie’s petrol Hapsburg bag in the other shot. Her shoes there are Jimmy Choos. So far I think her formal shoes have been only two pairs of Jimmy Choos in nude and white which she is matching to the smarter outfits.

edit to say she switched her bag between the Orbis shot and meeting the President. I bet both are empty anyway and she has an assistant with her phone, tissues, lipstick etc. Which means she is practically a walking advert for Hapsburg bags now…

Oops my mistake! The Orbis shot is from May and was in London. I haven’t seen a full length shot of her with the Guatemalan President so I don’t know which shoes she was wearing yesterday.

I like the colour and pattern of this dress

@justasking111 She wore it in the summer, I think to a meeting of some sort with veterans. Glad to see it get another outing.

Pringles hat - I give in, what is it. I quite like the mental image that the expression conjures, but I fear the reality will prove more mundane...

More flying saucer than Pringle, to my eye! Very maximal Maxima. But now I'm wanting someone to wear the mad Pringle tower of my imagination. I'm sure Treacy would make it and in her wilder youth perhaps Beatrice would have worn it?

My daily Sophie update while she is on tour. Touring Mayan ruins in Guatemala. Then off to Belize in a patterned dress (with a Sophie Habsburg bag I think is pretty ugly). The full length view of her guipure dress is nice although white head to toe is a lot of white. I would have preferred coloured shoes.
