Wasn't there a big robbery in Paris a few years ago. A Kardashian.

There's some very sophisticated gangs in Europe committing high end robberies. I remember them gassing villas knocking the owners unconscious then taking their time to clean out the valuables.

Yes, I watched an interesting documentary about the Kardashian heist. It was terrifying for her, just awful.

OMG there is a Pink Panther gang who've around 800 members worldwide. Their robberies are so audacious and high end. Escaping from prisons, escaping in speed boats. It's Hollywood material.
They've stolen hundreds of millions between them. Now they could have pulled the Louvre off. Jumped on a private jet and be anywhere now.

There's been quite a few museum robberies in France over the last year or so. I wonder if they were all building to this one?

May sound silly, but I just hope these items have been stolen to order for some obscenely rich person. It would be awful for such historic, and beautiful, pieces to be broken down for the individual gems.

As there seems to be a shortage of royal fashion, how about Cate doing some themed dressing for her podcast with Charles promoting the Millennium Seed Bank?
The King looks good in a light grey suit and burgundy tie and Dr Breman is smart and professional. Cate is the glamorous ambassador for the project, but I have to admit I don't really like her botanical print skirt (I think it's a digital print) - the colours don't work for me - although the panelled design is quite striking. The oversized, looong blazer with the weird patch (another botanical print) on one sleeve is way too fashiony for me. I like her commitment to her role; I wish I liked the sartorial results more.

There's been quite a bit happening style-wise - all on NMR! State visit in Belgium, Meghan making a few appearances, Caroline and Charlotte looking glam at some awards ceremony.

As Deftly says, some stuff going on. A state visit to Belgian by the Italian leader.

Sergio Mattarella is accompanied by his daughter, Laura. She looks quite chic in a dark sleeveless dress. I find that colour a bit overwhelming on Mathilde.
However, the tiara and earrings are stunning.

The purple dress co-ordinates beautifully with the Italians sashes, however clashes horribly with the green and red sash that Matilde is actually wearing.

Here is a couple of pictures from earlier in the day. I like Matilde's blue coat and dress. The other one, not so much.

Day 2 of the visit and I'm not keen on Mathilde's outfit, is it the colour? The fit is not flattering. I quite like Laura's suit and little handbag, plus the coat she wears later on.

Mathilde looks like she could rip off the skirt part of her gown and skate her short programme!

Yes, @Chesticles , the blue is a good strong colour, although the fabric seems a bit stiff.

A lot of her other outfits have been lovely, like the one @Maireas posted above with the little black bag. This one reminds me of a childs paper fortune teller

I don’t like the pale lilac/ashes of roses on Mathilde, it does wash her out a bit.,

Mathilde's blue coat is rather fine, but the stiff, double-breasted wrap that Laura Mattarella wore is not an experiment worth repeating.

Looking at Mathilde's day 2 attempt (almost successful) to blend into two different backgrounds I'm already feeling kinder about Maxima's awful coat...

I’m surprised Laura isn’t better-dressed, given how many fantastic fashion brands it has. It mostly looks like it comes from Next. I like her white coat, though and Mathilde’s blue outfit too, but the rest…
