@OvaHere i buy my toothpastes, DS deodorant. It’s not as good as recycle me but even if do a deposit once a month/ that’s still £60 where you couid get a treat

I wonder if anyone uses recycled me at all now.

Exactly what I do with Boots recycle scheme to stop me wasting money- essentials all the way. I like that you can recycle things like toothbrush heads and toothpaste with Boots too.

Well I’m already way out in front having both Liberty and Harrods in hand. Shocking that I’m still contemplating others- I’m not even counting Anthropologie . I’m going to call that a Christmas decoration.

That was what I was counting. I have a CT wand from the bridal beauty box (are they still blacklisted?!) and it definitely functions as blush rather than highlighter!

I’m getting fortnums. Maybe look fantastic, boots looks good. Waiting for Vogue. 3 is my max. Really no more ..

I wish SpaceNK would release details about their fragrance calendar. I could be persuaded away from the beauty one if that's good.

@BakeOffRewatchCB doesn’t appeal to me. Too many DoDs. I’m not interested in hydration and toning mists, not keen on oils, I don’t like any of the makeup shades, and I’m not keen on Creed perfume. Plus there are several products that I already have. For me personally, Space NK and Sephora are better. I would be more tempted by CB if I liked at least some of the makeup.

My Harrods beauty and fragrance have shipped, now to instruct DS to track DHL as I am on holiday!

I didn’t know about this. How does it work?

There's an app to download. You have to upload items then drop them off in a bin at Boots stores, I think there's a QR code on the bin to scan. Then spend £10 within 3 days of deposit and receive £5 of points.

I think i might go with CB classic advent too. I didnt want to go crazy this year, but the Medik8, Byoma, K18 and other bits really excite me! The makeup bits i will probably sell. I will keep the Saie blush though. I did look at Sephora too, that looks good. But CB swayed me more.
So for me it will be CB, SNK and Harrods fragrance.

The youtuber Miss Boux has posted an unboxing of the glossybox advent calendar. Subscribers can buy from 1st September at 12pm. General sale is the 5th September (she didn't state a time but Beautydetective says 12pm). Last year she was given a discount code but she didn't mention one this time however, another youtuber Eltoria has a discount code for £5 off for non subscribers (ELTORIA). There may well be other content creators with discount codes for it.

Glossybox looks great. I was going to get two advents this year but now I’m considering signing up to Glossybox and getting a box a month as my second ‘calendar’. Does anyone know if you still get the discount and early access if you sign up today?

Does anyone know when the contents of the French Pharmacy calendar were announced last year?

I've had an email with the OK advent calendar reveal, although it doesn't list what's in it. We'll have to wait until BD put a list together. Here's the image from the email.

Yep. The discount is partly to attract new subscribers!

Miss Boux did a recent comparison between Glossybox and Lookfantastic subscription boxes so will give you an idea of what you normally get.
I know @OvaHeresaid she really struggled to cancel her subscription last year.
I plan on getting the calendar but will take my chance to order on the 5th and use the £5 code Eltoria had which makes it £85.

What you don’t start until December? Last year I had a calendar in October, November and December. 😁

I signed up yesterday for Glossybox and had assess to the subscription lounge in a few hours, getting Glossybox advent tomorrow hopefully then it will be H&B providing the line up is a similar type to last year, the spoilers look good - that is for almost tween DD so she doesn't feel too left out, it worked out last year that I was happy for her to have most of the stuff and the faith in nature shampoo and conditioner have been brilliant for her and I would not have thought of them, even her hairdresser asked what she was using. Might look at Debenhams as have had a good one from them years ago. One of my best ever advents was Glossy box probably a decade ago and glad to see a return to form!

I have changed my mind as would be gutted if I missed out on Glossybox, especially now I have seen the OK contents and signed up today so I can order the advent tomorrow and then deal with trying to cancel afterwards as I already subscribe to Lookfantastic and don’t need another subscription.
I still plan on doing a DIY one and will use the box from Glossybox and a number of items from it but will replace the DOD’s with other bits.

So with Glossybox- is there a minimum subscription to get the discounted Advent or can you do a one month subscription? I just started to watch the unboxing, got to the full size milk and came back to find out. I live. Commodity Milk and this definitely makes it worth the money- even better if it’s £75.
