Clinique at Boots have a good GWP with two purchases, one to be foundation. Would make a good present for someone or a useful addition to a DIY advent calendar.

Two new CB edits coming soon. No information yet about what's in them but I'm guessing one is skincare and one make up.

On the subject of CB does anyone know if they've stopped giving points for reviews? They've changed their review format. I did a few the other day and got notifications that they were accepted but no points have applied or are pending. I couldn't find any information in their T&Cs and I'm sure there used to be some.

I’ve had an email to say that the LF/CB recycle me scheme will no longer be offering any rewards - the boots scheme is the only one worth doing now!

The problem for me is that I don’t shop at Boots!

Can anyone advise me about the Medik8 serums?

I’ve had the samples of peptides, c tetra and so on and they’re all nice! But I can get to the basics of which one does what better!

I did try Trinny Plump Up but it’s a bit sticky for me. Doesn’t sink in as I want so then I get pilling. The Cerave is good but feels entirely unluxurious! Maybe that’s ok?!

But I love the Medik8 ones, I just can’t choose.

for ref, skin is dry and sensitive, I’m 60 but fairly non-wrinkly, and have a good routine going now of serum/treatment/moisturiser.

Yup, they are trying to sell it as a "free recycling service" 🙄 I have used schemes like that in the past (you can send Gilette razor blades back for recycling for example) as I try to recycle as much as possible but I don't see me using recycle:me at all anymore when I can take the same stuff to Boots and get points for it.

The Boots one is clunky but I've switched to them for everything other than perfume minis and travel sized shower gels, which they don't take but recycle me did.

Not even for things like sun screen and pain killers? I use them against Piriton.

Not really! I try to use my local chemist for things like OTC medications, and sunscreen I get direct from Altruist!!

The rest is at the supermarket!

Is there a limit to how many times a week/day one can recycle at Boots?

and can I stack the vouchers? So if it’s £5 on a min £10 spend, can I use more than one for more than £10?

I got the same email and had the same reaction. My take is that they want to shut this operation down but blame it on poor uptake by the plebs rather than what it really is - a cost cutting exercise by a big corporation.

Also if there's going to be no reward then at least allow me to stick everything I've collected in one box and send it off. Non of this piddling around with 5 items. I'd possibly do that for no reward but it would have to be a load at once.

Boots online have the Clinique GWP with a min spend of £55, (doesn’t have to be foundation).

If you spend £70, they also throw in a face wash.
